蓋罪必不主爾、以爾非在律下、乃在恩下也、○

夫主即神、主神所在、乃得自由、

得釋於罪、而為義之僕矣、

使我克供新約之役、非恃文、乃恃靈、蓋文致死、靈致生也、

經云、始之亞當、成維生之魂、終之亞當、為賜生之靈、

若子釋爾、則誠釋矣、

爾將識真理、而真理將釋爾、

今爾得釋於罪、為上帝僕、其效成聖、終則永生、

信我者、如經所言、將有活水之川、由其腹而流焉、耶穌此言、指信之者將受之聖神、蓋聖神尚未降、因耶穌未榮也、

是以我覺有一律、即我願行善、而惡偕我、

惟飲我所予之水者、永不渴、蓋我所予之水、將於其中為泉、湧至永生、

蓋我由律已死於律、致得生於上帝、

畀生者神也、肉無益、我語爾之言、神也、生也、

然則所誇安在乎、曰、無之矣、以何律無之、以行之律乎、曰、非也、以信之律耳、

苦哉、我之為人也、誰拯我出此致死之身乎、感謝上帝、由我主耶穌基督為然、是故我以心志服於上帝律、以形軀服於罪律、

基督既釋我儕而得自由、故宜堅立、勿再負為僕之軛、

使者又以城衢中維生水之河示我、其水光明如晶、自上帝及羔之座而出、

致如罪於死中乘權、恩亦若是由義而乘權至於永生、惟因我主耶穌基督焉、

復我拯救之樂、以悅懌之神扶我兮、

越三日有半、生氣出自上帝者入之、遂起立、觀者大懼、

耶穌曰、爾若知上帝之賜、及語爾飲我者為誰、爾必求之、則以活水予爾、
