今則得釋於律法、蓋繫我者、我已脫之若死、使我儕事主不以文之舊者、乃以神之新者、

今則吾人既死於曩時所受之束縛乃得灑然脫於律法之權下；是宜以自由自在之精神、昭事天主、不當再拘泥於文字之陳跡矣。

But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.

But now we have died to what used to control us. We have been set free from the law. Now we serve in the new way of the Holy Spirit. We no longer serve in the old way of the written law.

But now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code.

But now we have been released from the law, for we died to it and are no longer captive to its power. Now we can serve God, not in the old way of obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way of living in the Spirit.

夫以信稱義之道未著、我眾為法所拘幽、以俟信道之顯、法為啟蒙之師、引我至基督、使以信稱義、以信稱義之道既著、不復師之矣、

賜我有能為新約之役、非循舊典、乃本於神、舊典致死、本神致生、

我因法而脫於法、得生以事上帝、我與基督同釘十字架、我不生、基督在我心則生、是我之生、因信上帝子而生、彼曾愛我、為我舍己者也、

屆期、上帝遣子、由女而生、服於法下、贖法下人、使我眾得為子、

爾不法是主、而恩是主、則罪末由服爾矣、曰、不法是主、而恩是主、可犯罪乎、曰、不可、

煥然一新、象創造者、日新而智廣、

基督贖我、脫法之咒詛、以其代我咒詛也、經云、懸木者、服咒詛矣、

令爾遠罪為上帝僕、作聖獲益、終得永生

如是、爾曹賴吾主耶穌基督、可謂已死以絕罪、生以事上帝、

其素無割禮而守法者、豈不罪爾、謂奉詔受割、而仍犯之耶、其明為猶太人者、非猶太人、其身明受割禮者、非受割、隱為猶太人、則誠猶太人、心受割禮、則誠受割、蓋在內心、不在虛文、其令聞非由人、乃由上帝、

我有言、欲與諳法者言之、兄弟乎、豈不知律法繩人、畢生以之耶、

宗基督者、是為新造之人、往事已非、諸事更新、

我一心以其子福音事上帝、上帝監我、緬懷爾不置、

勿從世、心維新、以明上帝所喜全善之意、

曰、非也我儕絕惡若死、詎復為惡若生、

我賦以一心、惟新其神、去其頑梗之心、賜以易化之心、

以新心賜爾、去其頑梗之性、賜以易化之心、

爾固昏庸、我試因人所言言之、爾曾獻四體為惡之僕、致作狂、今當獻四體為義之僕、以作聖、

宗基督耶穌者、新造之人也、受割不受割、皆無益、

我儕心事上帝、以基督耶穌為悅、不恃儀文、是真受割禮者、
