其行之也、非我行之、乃我中之惡行之、

行之者非我、乃居於我中之罪、

然此實非吾之所為、乃寓於吾身之罪之所為也。

As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me.

As it is, I am no longer the one who does these things. It is sin living in me that does them.

So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me.

So I am not the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it.

So now I am no longer the one doing it, but it is sin living in me.

But now, no longer am I the one doing it, but sin that dwells in me.

So now it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwelleth in me.

我若作自己不願意作的事，那就不是我作的，而是住在我裡面的罪作的。

我知道在我裡面，就是在我肉體之中，沒有良善，因為立志行善由得我，行出來卻由不得我。

不但這樣，我也把萬事當作是有損的，因為我以認識我主基督耶穌為至寶。為了他，我把萬事都拋棄了，看作廢物，為了要得著基督。並且得以在他裡面，不是有自己因律法而得的義，而是有因信基督而得的義，就是基於信心，從神而來的義，

聖經說：“神愛他那安置在我們裡面的靈，愛到嫉妒的地步”（或譯：“神安置在我們裡面的靈，愛到嫉妒的地步”），你們想這話是徒然的嗎？但神所賜的恩更大；所以聖經上說：“神對抗驕傲的人，賜恩給謙卑的人。”

“過犯得蒙赦免，罪惡得到遮蓋的人，是有福的；主不算為有罪的，這人是有福的。”

因為人要是有願意作的心，按照他所有的，必蒙悅納，不是按照他所沒有的。

但我發覺肢體中另有一個律，和我心中的律爭戰，把我擄去附從肢體中的罪律。
