I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.

I don’t understand what I do. I don’t do what I want to do. Instead, I do what I hate to do.

For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate.

but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanseth us from all sin.If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

For the good which I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I practise.But if what I would not, that I do, it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwelleth in me.

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

Howbeit the firm foundation of God standeth, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his: and, Let every one that nameth the name of the Lord depart from unrighteousness.

and some save, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

The faith which thou hast, have thou to thyself before God. Happy is he that judgeth not himself in that which he approveth.

The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil: Pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, And the perverse mouth, do I hate.

Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish justice in the gate: it may be that Jehovah, the God of hosts, will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

But if what I would not, that I do, I consent unto the law that it is good.

Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: Quicken me in thy righteousness.

I hate and abhor falsehood; But thy law do I love.

Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; And I hate every false way.

Who can discern his errors? Clear thou me from hidden faults.

For Jehovah knoweth the way of the righteous; But the way of the wicked shall perish.

I will set no base thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; It shall not cleave unto me.

I hate them that are of a double mind; But thy law do I love.

Through thy precepts I get understanding: Therefore I hate every false way.

O ye that love Jehovah, hate evil: He preserveth the souls of his saints; He delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

If they sin against thee( for there is no man that sinneth not), and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captive unto the land of the enemy, far off or near;

A righteous man hateth lying; But a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.

Iniquities prevail against me: As for our transgressions, thou wilt forgive them.

Blessed are they that are perfect in the way, Who walk in the law of Jehovah.Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, That seek him with the whole heart.Yea, they do no unrighteousness; They walk in his ways.Thou hast commanded us thy precepts, That we should observe them diligently.Oh that my ways were established To observe thy statutes!Then shall I not be put to shame, When I have respect unto all thy commandments.

So ye are witnesses and consent unto the works of your fathers: for they killed them, and ye build their tombs.

He deviseth iniquity upon his bed; He setteth himself in a way that is not good; He abhorreth not evil.
