因为知道我们的旧人和他同钉十字架，使罪身灭绝，叫我们不再作罪的奴仆；

應知吾人之故我、已與之同釘於十字架上；於是罪孽之身、已蕩然毀滅、而吾人不復為罪孽之奴矣。

For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin—

We know that what we used to be was nailed to the cross with him. That happened so our bodies that were ruled by sin would lose their power. So we are no longer slaves of sin.

我已经与基督同钉十字架，现在活着的不再是我，乃是基督在我里面活着；并且我如今在肉身活着，是因信神的儿子而活；他是爱我，为我舍己。

但我断不以别的夸口，只夸我们主耶稣基督的十字架；因这十字架，就我而论，世界已经钉在十字架上；就世界而论，我已经钉在十字架上。

凡属基督耶稣的人，是已经把肉体连肉体的邪情私欲同钉在十字架上了。

就要脱去你们从前行为上的旧人，这旧人是因私欲的迷惑渐渐变坏的；

耶稣回答说：“我实实在在地告诉你们，所有犯罪的就是罪的奴仆。奴仆不能永远住在家里；儿子是永远住在家里。所以天父的儿子若叫你们自由，你们就真自由了。

所以，要治死你们在地上的肢体，就如淫乱、污秽、邪情、恶欲，和贪婪，贪婪就与拜偶像一样。

不要彼此说谎；因你们已经脱去旧人和旧人的行为，穿上了新人。这新人在知识上渐渐更新，正如造他主的形像。

你们若顺从肉体活着，必要死；若靠着圣灵治死身体的恶行，必要活着。

但现今，你们既从罪里得了释放，作了神的奴仆，就有成圣的果子，那结局就是永生。

我真是苦啊！谁能救我脱离这取死的身体呢？感谢神，靠着我们的主耶稣基督就能脱离了。这样看来，我以内心顺服神的律，我肉体却顺服罪的律了。

你们在他里面也受了不是人手所行的割礼，乃是基督使你们脱去肉体情欲的割礼。你们既受洗与他一同埋葬，也就在此与他一同复活，都因信那叫他从死里复活神的功用。

律法既因肉体软弱，有所不能行的，神就差遣自己的儿子，成为罪身的形状，作了赎罪祭，在肉体中定了罪案，使律法的义成就在我们这不随从肉体、只随从圣灵的人身上。

耶和华我们的神啊，在你以外曾有别的主管辖我们，但我们专要倚靠你，提你的名。

所以，不要容罪在你们必死的身上作王，使你们顺从身子的私欲。

乃缦说：“你若不肯受，请将两骡子驮的土赐给仆人。从今以后，仆人必不再将燔祭或平安祭献与别神，只献给耶和华。
