故我儕為其死受洗禮、是與基督同葬、基督以父之榮、由死復生、我儕從此新生以行、亦如是、

既因受洗而與之同死、亦即與之同葬矣。既與之同葬、乃亦與之同被天父之恩光、而自死中復活。於是吾人所現有者、乃為煥然一新之生命。

We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

By being baptized, we were buried with Christ into his death. Christ has been raised from the dead by the Father’s glory. And like Christ we also can live a new life.

that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit,and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.

This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you— not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over him!

by which he has granted to us his precious and exceedingly great promises; that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust.Yes, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence; and in moral excellence, knowledge;and in knowledge, self- control; and in self- control perseverance; and in perseverance godliness;and in godliness brotherly affection; and in brotherly affection, love.For if these things are yours and abound, they make you to not be idle or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.For he who lacks these things is blind, seeing only what is near, having forgotten the cleansing from his old sins.

Or don’t you know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?

For he was crucified through weakness, yet he lives through the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we will live with him through the power of God toward you.

For in Christ Jesus neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.As many as walk by this rule, peace and mercy be on them, and on God’s Israel.

But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind; for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,that you no longer should live the rest of your time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.

Now God raised up the Lord, and will also raise us up by his power.

Jesus said to her,“ Didn’t I tell you that if you believed, you would see God’s glory?”

Let’s walk properly, as in the day; not in reveling and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and lustful acts, and not in strife and jealousy.But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts.

In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ,having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses,

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind,

If then you were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God.Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth.For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

Brothers, be imitators together of me, and note those who walk this way, even as you have us for an example.For many walk, of whom I told you often, and now tell you even weeping, as the enemies of the cross of Christ,

whom God raised up, having freed him from the agony of death, because it was not possible that he should be held by it.

I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh, for as you presented your members as servants to uncleanness and to wickedness upon wickedness, even so now present your members as servants to righteousness for sanctification.

Masters, give to your servants that which is just and equal, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.

Jesus answered them,“ Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”The Jews therefore said,“ It took forty- six years to build this temple! Will you raise it up in three days?”

For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don’t cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God,strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy,giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light,

This beginning of his signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.

and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his mightwhich he worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places,

Behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from the sky, and came and rolled away the stone from the door, and sat on it.His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow.

Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well- pleasing, and perfect will of God.

For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,

even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved—and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
