亦欲勉吾人因信而成義耳。吾人所信者何、即天主使吾主耶穌死中復活；

也是为我们将来得算为义之人写的，就是我们这信神使我们的主耶稣从死里复活的人。

也是为我们将来得算为义的人写的，就是为我们这些信上帝使我们的主耶稣从死人中复活的人写的。

也是为我们将来得算为义的人写的，就是为我们这些信神使我们的主耶稣从死人中复活的人写的。

也是为将来要被算为义人的我们写的，就是相信上帝使主耶稣从死里复活的人。

即信使我主耶穌自死而起者、亦將以之為義也、

我儕若信、使吾主耶穌復生之上帝、則亦可稱義矣、

我儕若信使我主耶穌基督由死復活之天主、則我儕之信、亦必視為我儕之義、

but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness— for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.

They were written also for us. We believe in the God who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. So God will accept our faith and make us right with himself.

but for ours also. It will be counted to us who believe in him who raised from the dead Jesus our Lord,

for our benefit, too, assuring us that God will also count us as righteous if we believe in him, the one who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.

天主為解苦厄、使之復活、死固不足以限之也。

凡此皆為爾等之益也。爾等之得信奉天主、實賴基督之德、而天主者、則起基督於死者之中、而鍚以光榮者也。是故爾宜堅守信德、一心仰望天主。

申言之、爾第以爾之口、承認耶穌為主、且以爾之心、篤信天主曾起之於死者之中；則爾之得救必矣。蓋中心信之、所以成義；口角傳之、所以蒙恩也。

俾爾洞識真主；開爾靈眼、俾明聖召之希望無窮、諸聖光榮嗣業之蘊藏無限、及天主於信徒所施神力之廣大無邊也。蓋此神力、天主實已先施於基督之身、起之於死中、升之於諸天、位之於己右、

蓋此恩許、原為爾曹、為爾子孫、以及我天主所召遠方之人也。』

天主則起之於死、

凡信而受洗者得救、不信者遭譴。

願平安之天主、曩憑永約之血、使吾主耶穌基督自死者中復活、而為群羊之大牧者、賜爾才備德全、克行厥旨；並因耶穌基督、玉汝於成、俾有以慰愜天心也。願其享受光榮、永世靡暨、心焉祝之。

且正如摩西舉銅蛇於野、人子亦將被舉、俾信之者、得免淪亡、而獲永生。夫天主不惜以其惟一聖子賜之於世、俾凡信之者、得免淪亡、而獲永生、是其愛世之篤、為何如乎？
