yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God,

並且仰望神的應許，總沒有因不信心裏起疑惑，反倒因信心裏得堅固，將榮耀歸給神，

仍仰望上帝的應許，總沒有因不信而起疑惑，反倒因信而剛強，將榮耀歸給上帝，

仍仰望神的應許，總沒有因不信而起疑惑，反倒因信而剛強，將榮耀歸給神，

他沒有因不信而懷疑上帝的應許，反倒信心更加堅定，將榮耀歸給上帝。

也沒有因著不信而疑惑神的應許，反倒堅信不移，把榮耀歸給神，

也沒有以不信之心去疑惑上帝的應許，反而在信心上得了能力而堅固，而將榮耀歸與上帝，

他也沒有因著不信去懷疑神的應許，反而因著信得以剛強，把榮耀歸給神，

且於上帝所許、不以不信而貳其心、惟信彌篤、歸榮上帝、

絕不疑上帝所應許、稍懷不信心、惟信彌篤、歸榮上帝、

不懷不信之心、疑天主所許者、其信益堅、歸榮天主、

一心惟主之恩諾是恃、毫無狐疑之意、

Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,

But Abraham kept believing in God’s promise. He became strong in his faith. He gave glory to God.

No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God,

Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God.

He did not waver in unbelief at God’s promise but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,

He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,

yet, looking unto the promise of God, he wavered not through unbelief, but waxed strong through faith, giving glory to God,

He did not waver in unbelief at God’s promise but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

He did not waver in unbelief about the promise of God but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God.

Yet, looking to the promise of God, he didn’t waver through unbelief, but grew strong through faith, giving glory to God,

Therefore I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in distresses, in persecutions, in difficulties, in behalf of Christ; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

And it will come about that just as you were a curse among the nations, house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you that you may become a blessing. Do not fear; let your hands be strong.’

Where am I to get meat to give to all this people? For they weep before me, saying,‘ Give us meat so that we may eat!’I am not able to carry all this people by myself, because it is too burdensome for me.So if You are going to deal with me this way, please kill me now, if I have found favor in Your sight, and do not let me see my misery.”The Lord therefore said to Moses,“ Gather for Me seventy men from the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and their officers, and bring them to the tent of meeting, and have them take their stand there with you.Then I will come down and speak with you there, and I will take away some of the Spirit who is upon you, and put Him upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, so that you will not bear it by yourself.And you shall say to the people,‘ Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow, and you shall eat meat; for you have wept in the ears of the Lord, saying,“ Oh that someone would give us meat to eat! For we were well off in Egypt.” Therefore the Lord will give you meat and you shall eat.You shall eat, not one day, nor two days, nor five days, nor ten days, nor twenty days,but for a whole month, until it comes out of your nose and makes you nauseated; because you have rejected the Lord who is among you and have wept before Him, saying,“ Why did we ever leave Egypt?” ’ ”But Moses said,“ The people, among whom I am included, are six hundred thousand on foot! Yet You have said,‘ I will give them meat, so that they may eat for a whole month.’Are flocks and herds to be slaughtered for them, so that it will be sufficient for them? Or are all the fish of the sea to be caught for them, so that it will be sufficient for them?”Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Is the Lord’s power too little? Now you shall see whether My word will come true for you or not.”

And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what had been spoken to her by the Lord.”

And he said,“ You who are treasured, do not be afraid. Peace be to you; take courage and be courageous!” Now as soon as he spoke to me, I felt strengthened and said,“ May my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”

“ After giving the deed of purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed to the Lord, saying,‘ Oh, Lord God! Behold, You Yourself have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You,who shows mercy to thousands, but repays the wrongdoing of fathers into the laps of their children after them, great and mighty God. The Lord of armies is His name;great in counsel and mighty in deed, whose eyes are open to all the ways of the sons of mankind, giving to everyone according to his ways and according to the fruit of his deeds;who has accomplished signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, and even to this day both in Israel and among mankind; and You have made a name for Yourself, as at this day.You brought Your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs and with wonders, and with a strong hand and an outstretched arm, and with great terror;and You gave them this land, which You swore to their forefathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey.They came in and took possession of it, but they did not obey Your voice or walk in Your Law; they did not do anything that You commanded them to do; therefore You have made all this disaster happen to them.Behold, the assault ramps have reached the city to take it; and the city has been handed over to the Chaldeans who fight against it, because of the sword, the famine, and the plague; and what You have spoken has come to pass; and behold, You see it.Yet You have said to me, Lord God,“ Buy for yourself the field with money and call in witnesses”— although the city has been handed over to the Chaldeans.’ ”Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,“ Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?”

and the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is the son of Remaliah. If you will not believe, you certainly shall not last.” ’ ”

Say to those with anxious heart,“ Take courage, fear not. Behold, your God will come with vengeance; The retribution of God will come, But He will save you.”

At that time the royal officer had responded to the man of God and said,“ Now even if the Lord were to make windows in heaven, could such a thing as this happen?” And he had said,“ Behold, you are going to see it with your own eyes, but you will not eat any of it.”

You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

“ The Lord of armies says this:‘ Let your hands be strong, you who are listening in these days to these words from the mouth of the prophets, those who spoke in the day that the foundation of the house of the Lord of armies was laid, so that the temple might be built.

and he said,“ Listen, all you of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and King Jehoshaphat: This is what the Lord says to you:‘ Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God’s.Tomorrow, go down against them. Behold, they will come up by the ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the valley in front of the wilderness of Jeruel.You need not fight in this battle; take your position, stand and watch the salvation of the Lord in your behalf, Judah and Jerusalem.’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow, go out to face them, for the Lord is with you.”Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell down before the Lord, worshiping the Lord.The Levites, from the sons of the Kohathites and from the sons of the Korahites, stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel, with a very loud voice.They rose early in the morning and went out to the wilderness of Tekoa; and when they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said,“ Listen to me, Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: Put your trust in the Lord your God and you will endure. Put your trust in His prophets, and succeed.”

Zechariah said to the angel,“ How will I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is advanced in her years.”

The royal officer on whose hand the king was leaning responded to the man of God and said,“ Even if the Lord were to make windows in heaven, could this thing happen?” Then he said,“ Behold, you are going to see it with your own eyes, but you will not eat any of it.”

But now take courage, Zerubbabel,’ declares the Lord,‘ take courage also, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and all you people of the land take courage,’ declares the Lord,‘ and work; for I am with you,’ declares the Lord of armies.

But when the crowds saw this, they were awestruck, and they glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.

Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.

And by smooth words he will turn to godlessness those who act wickedly toward the covenant, but the people who know their God will be strong and take action.
