Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb;

彼雖年近百齡、自念其身如死、撒拉絕孕、而其信不衰、

信之即篤、雖近百齡、血氣衰、弗顧也、雖撒拉絕孕、亦弗顧也、

其信甚篤、年近百歲、不顧己身已衰、亦不顧撒拉之胎已絕孕、

故雖明知己之將近百歲、精力枯竭、且明知灑蕾之久已絕孕；然信心未因此而稍衰、

Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead— since he was about a hundred years old— and that Sarah’s womb was also dead.

Abraham did not become weak in his faith. He accepted the fact that he was past the time when he could have children. At that time Abraham was about 100 years old. He also realized that Sarah was too old to have children.

He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead( since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah’s womb.

And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead— and so was Sarah’s womb.

He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body to be already dead( since he was about a hundred years old) and also the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead( since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

And without being weakened in faith he considered his own body now as good as dead( he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb;

He considered his own body to be already dead( since he was about 100 years old) and also considered the deadness of Sarah’s womb, without weakening in the faith.

And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:

Without being weak in faith, he considered his own body as dead( because he was about one hundred years old) and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

Without being weakened in faith, he didn’t consider his own body, already having been worn out,( he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said in his heart,“ Will a child be born to a man a hundred years old? And will Sarah, who is ninety years old, give birth to a child?”

By faith even Sarah herself received ability to conceive, even beyond the proper time of life, since she considered Him faithful who had promised.Therefore even from one man, and one who was as good as dead at that, there were born descendants who were just as the stars of heaven in number, and as the innumerable grains of sand along the seashore.All these died in faith, without receiving the promises, but having seen and welcomed them from a distance, and having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth.For those who say such things make it clear that they are seeking a country of their own.And indeed if they had been thinking of that country which they left, they would have had opportunity to return.But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; for He has prepared a city for them.By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and the one who had received the promises was offering up his only son;it was he to whom it was said,“ Through Isaac your descendants shall be named.”He considered that God is able to raise people even from the dead, from which he also received him back as a type.

But Jesus said to him,“ ‘ If You can?’ All things are possible for the one who believes.”Immediately the boy’s father cried out and said,“ I do believe; help my unbelief!”

But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!

He* said to them,“ Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it became perfectly calm.

Immediately Jesus reached out with His hand and took hold of him, and* said to him,“ You of little faith, why did you doubt?”

It is good not to eat meat or to drink wine, or to do anything by which your brother or sister stumbles.

yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God,and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.

Now Abraham and Sarah were old, advanced in age; Sarah was past childbearing.So Sarah laughed to herself, saying,“ After I have become old, am I to have pleasure, my lord being old also?”But the Lord said to Abraham,“ Why did Sarah laugh, saying,‘ Shall I actually give birth to a child, when I am so old?’Is anything too difficult for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, at this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”

Then He* said to Thomas,“ Place your finger here, and see My hands; and take your hand and put it into My side; and do not continue in disbelief, but be a believer.”Thomas answered and said to Him,“ My Lord and my God!”
