For the law produces wrath, for where there is no law, neither is there disobedience.

事實上，律法帶來了震怒，所以哪裡沒有律法，哪裡也就沒有過犯。

蓋律以致怒、無律則無犯、

有法、此有刑、無法、則無犯法、

蓋律法致刑、無律法則無過犯、

夫法者、刑戮之器也；法之不存、何犯之有。

because the law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression.

The law brings God’s anger. Where there is no law, the law can’t be broken.

For the law brings wrath, but where there is no law there is no transgression.

For the law always brings punishment on those who try to obey it.( The only way to avoid breaking the law is to have no law to break!)

For until the law, sin was in the world; but sin is not charged when there is no law.

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. For it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who doesn’t continue in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them.”

Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight; for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

What shall we say then? Is the law sin? May it never be! However, I wouldn’t have known sin, except through the law. For I wouldn’t have known coveting, unless the law had said,“ You shall not covet.”But sin, finding occasion through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of coveting. For apart from the law, sin is dead.I was alive apart from the law once, but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.The commandment which was for life, this I found to be for death;for sin, finding occasion through the commandment, deceived me, and through it killed me.Therefore the law indeed is holy, and the commandment holy, and righteous, and good.Did then that which is good become death to me? May it never be! But sin, that it might be shown to be sin, was producing death in me through that which is good; that through the commandment sin might become exceedingly sinful.For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold under sin.For I don’t know what I am doing. For I don’t practice what I desire to do; but what I hate, that I do.But if what I don’t desire, that I do, I consent to the law that it is good.So now it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me.For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don’t find it doing that which is good.For the good which I desire, I don’t do; but the evil which I don’t desire, that I practice.But if what I don’t desire, that I do, it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me.I find then the law that, to me, while I desire to do good, evil is present.For I delight in God’s law after the inward man,but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members.What a wretched man I am! Who will deliver me out of the body of this death?I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord! So then with the mind, I myself serve God’s law, but with the flesh, sin’s law.

The law came in that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace abounded more exceedingly;that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness.

One who believes in the Son has eternal life, but one who disobeys the Son won’t see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”

The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked. But now he commands that all people everywhere should repent,because he has appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he has ordained; of which he has given assurance to all men, in that he has raised him from the dead.”

But if the service of death, written engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly on the face of Moses for the glory of his face, which was passing away,won’t service of the Spirit be with much more glory?For if the service of condemnation has glory, the service of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.

But according to your hardness and unrepentant heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath, revelation, and of the righteous judgment of God;who“ will pay back to everyone according to their works:”

If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.

Then why is there the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring should come to whom the promise has been made. It was ordained through angels by the hand of a mediator.

For as many as have sinned without the law will also perish without the law. As many as have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.For it isn’t the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified

“ You have called, as in the day of a solemn assembly, my terrors on every side. There was no one that escaped or remained in the day of Yahweh’s anger. My enemy has consumed those whom I have cared for and brought up.

Yahweh will not pardon him, but then Yahweh’s anger and his jealousy will smoke against that man, and all the curse that is written in this book will fall on him, and Yahweh will blot out his name from under the sky.Yahweh will set him apart for evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant written in this book of the law.The generation to come— your children who will rise up after you, and the foreigner who will come from a far land— will say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses with which Yahweh has made it sick,that all of its land is sulfur, salt, and burning, that it is not sown, doesn’t produce, nor does any grass grow in it, like the overthrow of Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, which Yahweh overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath.Even all the nations will say,“ Why has Yahweh done this to this land? What does the heat of this great anger mean?”Then men will say,“ Because they abandoned the covenant of Yahweh, the God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them out of the land of Egypt,and went and served other gods and worshiped them, gods that they didn’t know and that he had not given to them.Therefore Yahweh’s anger burned against this land, to bring on it all the curses that are written in this book.Yahweh rooted them out of their land in anger, in wrath, and in great indignation, and thrust them into another land, as it is today.”

Let no one deceive you with empty words. For because of these things, the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.

Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to deliver them in the day of Yahweh’s wrath, but the whole land will be devoured by the fire of his jealousy; for he will make an end, yes, a terrible end, of all those who dwell in the land.

For this, clothe yourself with sackcloth, lament and wail; for the fierce anger of Yahweh hasn’t turned back from us.

They will cast their silver in the streets, and their gold will be as an unclean thing. Their silver and their gold won’t be able to deliver them in the day of Yahweh’s wrath. They won’t satisfy their souls or fill their bellies; because it has been the stumbling block of their iniquity.

For in it is revealed God’s righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written,“ But the righteous shall live by faith.”

“ Go inquire of Yahweh for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found; for great is Yahweh’s wrath that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not listened to the words of this book, to do according to all that which is written concerning us.”

For these things’ sake the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.

“ Behold, you have risen up in your fathers’ place, an increase of sinful men, to increase the fierce anger of Yahweh toward Israel.

Out of his mouth proceeds a sharp, double- edged sword, that with it he should strike the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He treads the wine press of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty.

They told the mountains and the rocks,“ Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb,for the great day of his wrath has come; and who is able to stand?”
