如果只有遵行律法的人才可以承受应许，信心就没有价值，上帝的应许也就落了空。

如果属于律法的人才能成为后嗣，信就没有作用，应许也就落空了。

这是因为，如果本于律法的才是继承人，信就落了空，应许也就无效了。

若是屬乎律法的人才得為後嗣，信就歸於虛空，應許也就廢棄了。

若是屬於律法的人才是後嗣，信就落空了，應許也就失效了。

若是屬於律法的人才是後嗣，信就落空了，應許也就失效了。

若由律者為嗣、信則虛、許亦廢矣、

若恃法為嗣子、則信歸烏有、許亦無益、

若屬律法者為嗣子、則信歸於虛、所許亦廢矣、

若惟屬於律法者得為嗣子、是不啻廢棄信德、而致恩諾於無效也。

For if those who depend on the law are heirs, faith means nothing and the promise is worthless,

Do those who depend on the law receive the promise? If they do, faith would mean nothing. God’s promise would be worthless.

For if it is the adherents of the law who are to be the heirs, faith is null and the promise is void.

If God’s promise is only for those who obey the law, then faith is not necessary and the promise is pointless.

If those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made empty and the promise nullified,

For if those who are of the Law are heirs, then faith is made void and the promise is nullified;

For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect,

For if they that are of the law are heirs, faith is made void, and the promise is made of none effect:

If those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made empty and the promise is canceled.

For if they which are of the law[ be] heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:

For if they become heirs by the law, faith is empty and the promise is nullified.

For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no more of promise; but God has granted it to Abraham by promise.Then why is there the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring should come to whom the promise has been made. It was ordained through angels by the hand of a mediator.Now a mediator is not between one, but God is one.Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could make alive, most certainly righteousness would have been of the law.But the Scripture imprisoned all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, confined for the faith which should afterwards be revealed.So that the law has become our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

But if her husband made them null and void in the day that he heard them, then whatever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand. Her husband has made them void. Yahweh will forgive her.

It is time to act, Yahweh, for they break your law.

“‘“ I will make the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem void in this place. I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hand of those who seek their life. I will give their dead bodies to be food for the birds of the sky and for the animals of the earth.

Do we then nullify the law through faith? May it never be! No, we establish the law.

I don’t reject the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing!”

You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace.

For this cause it is of faith, that it may be according to grace, to the end that the promise may be sure to all the offspring, not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all.

For the law appoints men as high priests who have weakness, but the word of the oath which came after the law appoints a Son forever who has been perfected.

and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith,

( for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

so is my word that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do.

But if he makes them null and void after he has heard them, then he shall bear her iniquity.”
