彼受割禮之號、即未受割禮時、因信而稱義之印證、使其為凡未受割禮而信者之父、使彼亦得稱義、亦為受割禮者之父、即不獨受割禮、且循吾祖亞伯拉罕未受割禮時、所有之信之跡而行者、

信基督耶穌、受割禮不受割禮皆無益、惟使人行仁愛之信德有益、

故我儕謂人得稱義、由信、非由行律法、

我儕心事天主、以基督耶穌為誇、不恃外貌、外貌原文作肉軀下同是真受割禮者、

我見其行不正、不遵福音之真、乃於眾前謂磯法曰、爾猶太人也、既行如異邦人、非如猶太人、何又強異邦人、行如猶太人乎、我儕本猶太人、非異邦罪人、既知人得稱義非由行律法、乃由信耶穌基督、故我儕亦信耶穌基督、欲由信基督稱義、不由行律法、蓋無人由行律法得稱義也、
