For what if some were without faith? Will their lack of faith nullify the faithfulness of God?

就使有取了不信態度的，能怎麼樣呢？難道他們之不信能廢掉上帝之可信靠麼？

即使他們中有些人不信，到底又怎麼樣呢？難道他們的不信會使神的信實無效嗎？

設有無信者何如耶、彼之無信、豈廢上帝信乎、

曰、其中若有不信、得毋以不信廢上帝信乎、

其中有不信者則何歟、彼之不信、能廢天主之信乎、

其中縱有負此託付者、亦無礙宏旨。人之不誠、豈能廢天主之至誠乎？

What if some were unfaithful? Will their unfaithfulness nullify God’s faithfulness?

What if some Jews were not faithful? Will the fact that they weren’t faithful keep God from being faithful?

What if some were unfaithful? Does their faithlessness nullify the faithfulness of God?

True, some of them were unfaithful; but just because they were unfaithful, does that mean God will be unfaithful?

What then? If some were unfaithful, will their unfaithfulness nullify God’s faithfulness?

What then? If some did not believe, their unbelief will not nullify the faithfulness of God, will it?

For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect?

For what if some were without faith? shall their want of faith make of none effect the faithfulness of God?

What then? If some did not believe, will their unbelief cancel God’s faithfulness?

For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

What then? If some did not believe, does their unbelief nullify the faithfulness of God?

If we are faithless, he remains faithful; for he can’t deny himself.”

For indeed we have had good news preached to us, even as they also did, but the word they heard didn’t profit them, because it wasn’t mixed with faith by those who heard.

But it is not as though the word of God has come to nothing. For they are not all Israel that are of Israel.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

Also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent; for he is not a man, that he should repent.”

But they didn’t all listen to the glad news. For Isaiah says,“ Lord, who has believed our report?”

so is my word that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do.

God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should repent. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not make it good?

I ask then, did God reject his people? May it never be! For I also am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.God didn’t reject his people, which he foreknew. Or don’t you know what the Scripture says about Elijah? How he pleads with God against Israel:“ Lord, they have killed your prophets, they have broken down your altars. I am left alone, and they seek my life.”But how does God answer him?“ I have reserved for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.What then? That which Israel seeks for, that he didn’t obtain, but the chosen ones obtained it, and the rest were hardened.

For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he could swear by no one greater, he swore by himself,saying,“ Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.”Thus, having patiently endured, he obtained the promise.For men indeed swear by a greater one, and in every dispute of theirs the oath is final for confirmation.In this way God, being determined to show more abundantly to the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath,that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to take hold of the hope set before us.

“ Don’t consider what this people has spoken, saying,‘ Has Yahweh cast off the two families which he chose?’ Thus they despise my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.”Yahweh says:“ If my covenant of day and night fails, if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;then I will also cast away the offspring of Jacob, and of David my servant, so that I will not take of his offspring to be rulers over the offspring of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to be reversed and will have mercy on them.”

We are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers, even as it is appropriate, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each and every one of you toward one another abounds,

Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s chosen ones, and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness,in hope of eternal life, which God, who can’t lie, promised before time began;

You will leave your name for a curse to my chosen; and the Lord Yahweh will kill you. He will call his servants by another name,so that he who blesses himself in the earth will bless himself in the God of truth; and he who swears in the earth will swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hidden from my eyes.

From his fullness we all received grace upon grace.

They go from strength to strength. Every one of them appears before God in Zion.

But we all, with unveiled face seeing the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.

“ For this is like the waters of Noah to me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah will no more go over the earth, so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.For the mountains may depart, and the hills be removed; but my loving kindness will not depart from you, and my covenant of peace will not be removed,” says Yahweh who has mercy on you.

For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.
