就使有取了不信態度的，能怎麼樣呢？難道他們之不信能廢掉上帝之可信靠麼？

即使他們中有些人不信，到底又怎麼樣呢？難道他們的不信會使神的信實無效嗎？

設有無信者何如耶、彼之無信、豈廢上帝信乎、

曰、其中若有不信、得毋以不信廢上帝信乎、

其中有不信者則何歟、彼之不信、能廢天主之信乎、

其中縱有負此託付者、亦無礙宏旨。人之不誠、豈能廢天主之至誠乎？

What if some were unfaithful? Will their unfaithfulness nullify God’s faithfulness?

What if some Jews were not faithful? Will the fact that they weren’t faithful keep God from being faithful?

What if some were unfaithful? Does their faithlessness nullify the faithfulness of God?

True, some of them were unfaithful; but just because they were unfaithful, does that mean God will be unfaithful?

What then? If some were unfaithful, will their unfaithfulness nullify God’s faithfulness?

What then? If some did not believe, their unbelief will not nullify the faithfulness of God, will it?

For what if some were without faith? shall their want of faith make of none effect the faithfulness of God?

What then? If some did not believe, will their unbelief cancel God’s faithfulness?

For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

What then? If some did not believe, does their unbelief nullify the faithfulness of God?

For what if some were without faith? Will their lack of faith nullify the faithfulness of God?

If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.

For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.

But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel,

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor relent. For He is not a man, that He should relent.”

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says,“ Lord, who has believed our report?”

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

“ God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying,“ Lord, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life”?But what does the divine response say to him?“ I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace.And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded.

For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself,saying,“ Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.”And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.For men indeed swear by the greater, and an oath for confirmation is for them an end of all dispute.Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath,that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.

“ Have you not considered what these people have spoken, saying,‘ The two families which the Lord has chosen, He has also cast them off’? Thus they have despised My people, as if they should no more be a nation before them.“ Thus says the Lord:‘ If My covenant is not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth,then I will cast away the descendants of Jacob and David My servant, so that I will not take any of his descendants to be rulers over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. For I will cause their captives to return, and will have mercy on them.’”

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other,

Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect and the acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness,in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began,

You shall leave your name as a curse to My chosen; For the Lord GOD will slay you, And call His servants by another name;So that he who blesses himself in the earth Shall bless himself in the God of truth; And he who swears in the earth Shall swear by the God of truth; Because the former troubles are forgotten, And because they are hidden from My eyes.

And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.

They go from strength to strength; Each one appears before God in Zion.

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

“ For this is like the waters of Noah to Me; For as I have sworn That the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth, So have I sworn That I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” Says the Lord, who has mercy on you.

For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.
