This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile,

We are made right with God by putting our faith in Jesus Christ. This happens to all who believe. It is no different for the Jews than for the Gentiles.

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,through whom we also have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we celebrate in hope of the glory of God.And not only this, but we also celebrate in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.For one will hardly die for a righteous person; though perhaps for the good person someone would even dare to die.But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.And not only this, but we also celebrate in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

nevertheless, knowing that a person is not justified by works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law; since by works of the Law no flesh will be justified.

Therefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus.

yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God,and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.Therefore it was also credited to him as righteousness.

and the Scripture was fulfilled which says,“ And Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called a friend of God.

I will rejoice greatly in the Lord, My soul will be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, As a groom puts on a turban, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

“ But when the king came in to look over the dinner guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed in wedding clothes,and he* said to him,‘ Friend, how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’ And the man was speechless.

and He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.

and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith,

For what does the Scripture say?“ Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”Now to the one who works, the wages are not credited as a favor, but as what is due.But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness,just as David also speaks of the blessing of the person to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:“ Blessed are those whose lawless deeds have been forgiven, And whose sins have been covered.Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will not take into account.”Is this blessing then on the circumcised, or on the uncircumcised also? For we say,“ Faith was credited to Abraham as righteousness.”How then was it credited? While he was circumcised, or uncircumcised? Not while circumcised, but while uncircumcised;and he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had while uncircumcised, so that he might be the father of all who believe without being circumcised, that righteousness might be credited to them,and the father of circumcision to those who not only are of the circumcision, but who also follow in the steps of the faith of our father Abraham which he had while uncircumcised.For the promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he would be heir of the world was not through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith.

What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, attained righteousness, but the righteousness that is by faith;

For who considers you as superior? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

But the father said to his slaves,‘ Quickly bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet;
