又云：『舌端弄詭譎、咽喉如荒墓；唇內藏辛螫、

“ Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit.”“ The poison of vipers is on their lips.”

“ Their throats are like open graves. With their tongues they tell lies.”( Psalm 5:9)“ The words from their lips are like the poison of a snake.”( Psalm 140:3)

“ Their throat is an open grave; they use their tongues to deceive.”“ The venom of asps is under their lips.”

“ Their talk is foul, like the stench from an open grave. Their tongues are filled with lies.”“ Snake venom drips from their lips.”

Their throat is an open grave; they deceive with their tongues. Vipers’ venom is under their lips.

他們口中毫無實話，心裡充滿惡毒，喉嚨是敞開的墳墓，舌頭上盡是詭詐。

他們的言語惡毒如蛇，嘴唇有蛇的毒液。（細拉）

願你剷除一切花言巧語和狂妄自誇的人。他們說：「我們必靠舌頭制勝，嘴唇是我們自己的，誰管得著我們？」

釀的酒如蛇的毒液，如眼鏡蛇的毒液。

當然不會！縱然人人都撒謊，上帝仍然真實可靠。正如聖經上說：「你的判語證明你是公義的；你雖被人控告，卻終必得勝。」

耶和華說：「他們鼓舌如簧，射出謊言，遍地充滿詭詐，毫無誠實；他們行惡不斷，不認我是上帝。你們要提防鄰居，不要信賴弟兄，因為弟兄詭計多端，鄰居滿口是非。他們彼此欺騙，不說真話；他們說謊成性，不知疲倦地肆意犯罪；

「虛偽的律法教師和法利賽人啊，你們有禍了！你們好像粉飾的墳墓，外表好看，裡面卻裝滿了死人的骨頭和各樣污穢之物。你們虛有公義的外表，內心卻充滿了各種的虛偽和罪惡。

你這詭詐的人啊，舌頭利如剃刀，盡是害人的奸計。

他們滿口惡言謊話，毫無智慧和善行。

你們的手染滿了血污，手指沾滿了罪惡。你們的嘴唇吐出謊言，舌頭嘀咕惡事。

你們這些毒蛇的後代！你們心裡邪惡，又怎能講出好話呢？因為心裡充滿的，口裡自然會說出來。善人心存良善，就從他裡面發出良善；惡人心存邪惡，就從他裡面發出邪惡。

我被獅子包圍，躺臥在吃人的野獸中。他們的牙齒是矛和箭，舌頭是尖刀。

同樣，人的舌頭雖然很小，卻能說誇大的話。看啊，小火星能點燃大森林。舌頭就是火，是我們身體上的一個充滿邪惡的世界，能玷污人的全身，足以毀掉人的一生，它是從地獄點燃的火。自然界中的各類走獸、飛禽、爬蟲、水族都可以被馴服，也已經被人類馴服了，但無人能馴服自己的舌頭，因為舌頭是個無法控制的邪惡之物，充滿了致命的毒氣。

他們都是勇士，他們的弓箭殺人無數。

難道你們不是見了虛假的異象，說了虛謊的預言嗎？你們說這是耶和華說的，其實我並沒有說。』」

這食物在腹中變酸，變成了蛇的毒液。他要吐出所吞下的財富，上帝要倒空他腹中之物。他吸吮蛇的毒液，被蛇的舌頭害死。
