For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, acts of adultery, other immoral sexual acts, thefts, false testimonies, and slanderous statements.

But Jesus said to him,“ Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone.

For from within, out of the hearts of people, come the evil thoughts, acts of sexual immorality, thefts, murders, acts of adultery,deeds of greed, wickedness, deceit, indecent behavior, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness.

For we too were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, spending our life in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another.

realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous person but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and worldly, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers,for the sexually immoral, homosexuals, slave traders, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching,

Far from it! Rather, God must prove to be true, though every person be found a liar, as it is written:“ So that You are justified in Your words, And prevail when You are judged.”

How then can mankind be righteous with God? Or how can anyone who is born of woman be pure?

But sexual immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be mentioned among you, as is proper among saints;and there must be no filthiness or foolish talk, or vulgar joking, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks.For this you know with certainty, that no sexually immoral or impure or greedy person, which amounts to an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.See that no one deceives you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

because it is written:“ You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: sexual immorality, impurity, indecent behavior,idolatry, witchcraft, hostilities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions,envy, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, slanderers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self control, brutal, haters of good,treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,holding to a form of godliness although they have denied its power; avoid such people as these.

“ The heart is more deceitful than all else And is desperately sick; Who can understand it?

Therefore, treat the parts of your earthly body as dead to sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry.For it is because of these things that the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience,and in them you also once walked, when you were living in them.But now you also, rid yourselves of all of them: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene speech from your mouth.Do not lie to one another, since you stripped off the old self with its evil practices,

To the Law and to the testimony! If they do not speak in accordance with this word, it is because they have no dawn.

Who can make the clean out of the unclean? No one!

And you were dead in your offenses and sins,in which you previously walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.Among them we too all previously lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the rest.

But for the cowardly, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and sexually immoral persons, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

How much less one who is detestable and corrupt: A person who drinks malice like water!

For even Christ did not please Himself, but as it is written:“ The taunts of those who taunt You have fallen on Me.”For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

just as it is written:“ God gave them a spirit of stupor, Eyes to see not and ears to hear not, Down to this very day.”

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals,nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor those habitually drunk, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.

Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral persons, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.
