Or do you have contempt for the wealth of his kindness, forbearance, and patience, and yet do not know that God’s kindness leads you to repentance?

还是你藐视祂深厚的慈爱、宽容和忍耐，不知道祂的慈爱是要引导你悔改吗？

还是你藐视神丰富的恩慈、宽容和忍耐，不晓得他的恩慈是要领你悔改的吗？

难道你轻视神丰富的仁慈、宽容、耐心，不明白他的仁慈是引领你来悔改的吗？

還是你藐視他豐富的恩慈、寬容、忍耐，不曉得他的恩慈是領你悔改呢？

還是你藐視他豐富的恩慈、寬容、忍耐，不知道他的恩慈是領你悔改嗎？

還是你藐視他豐富的恩慈、寬容、忍耐，不知道他的恩慈是領你悔改嗎？

還是你藐視祂深厚的慈愛、寬容和忍耐，不知道祂的慈愛是要引導你悔改嗎？

還是你藐視神豐富的恩慈、寬容和忍耐，不曉得他的恩慈是要領你悔改的嗎？

還是你輕看他慈惠寬容與恆忍之豐富，不知道上帝的慈惠正領着你悔改麼？

難道你輕視神豐富的仁慈、寬容、耐心，不明白他的仁慈是引領你來悔改的嗎？

抑輕褻其宏大之慈惠寬容恆忍、不知上帝之慈惠導爾改悔乎、

抑藐視其鴻慈、寛容、恆忍、不知上帝之仁愛、導爾悔改乎、

抑爾藐視其鴻慈、寛容、恆忍、不知天主之仁愛、導爾悔改乎、

抑爾藐視天主之大仁大慈、寬容忍耐、而不知其涵宏寬大之所以啟人悔悟乎？

Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?

Do you disrespect God’s great kindness and favor? Do you disrespect God when he is patient with you? Don’t you realize that God’s kindness is meant to turn you away from your sins?

Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?

Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?

Or do you despise the riches of his kindness, restraint, and patience, not recognizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?

Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and restraint and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?

Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, restraint, and patience, not recognizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?

Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some regard slowness, but is being patient toward you, because he does not wish for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

But what if God, willing to demonstrate his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience the objects of wrath prepared for destruction?And what if he is willing to make known the wealth of his glory on the objects of mercy that he has prepared beforehand for glory–

For this reason the LORD is ready to show you mercy; he sits on his throne, ready to have compassion on you. Indeed, the LORD is a just God; all who wait for him in faith will be blessed.

The LORD passed by before him and proclaimed:“ The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, and abounding in loyal love and faithfulness,

to demonstrate in the coming ages the surpassing wealth of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

– since the eyes of your heart have been enlightened– so that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what is the wealth of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

God publicly displayed him at his death as the mercy seat accessible through faith. This was to demonstrate his righteousness, because God in his forbearance had passed over the sins previously committed.

But“ when the kindness of God our Savior and his love for mankind appeared,he saved us not by works of righteousness that we have done but on the basis of his mercy, through the washing of the new birth and the renewing of the Holy Spirit,whom he poured out on us in full measure through Jesus Christ our Savior.

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace

after they were disobedient long ago when God patiently waited in the days of Noah as an ark was being constructed. In the ark a few, that is eight souls, were delivered through water.

God wanted to make known to them the glorious riches of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

And regard the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as also our dear brother Paul wrote to you, according to the wisdom given to him,

What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Absolutely not!

And when Jesus came to that place, he looked up and said to him,“ Zacchaeus, come down quickly, because I must stay at your house today.”So he came down quickly and welcomed Jesus joyfully.And when the people saw it, they all complained,“ He has gone in to be the guest of a man who is a sinner.”But Zacchaeus stopped and said to the Lord,“ Look, Lord, half of my possessions I now give to the poor, and if I have cheated anyone of anything, I am paying back four times as much!”

But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and merciful God. You are patient and demonstrate great loyal love and faithfulness.

For there is no distinction between the Jew and the Greek, for the same Lord is Lord of all, who richly blesses all who call on him.

My goal is that their hearts, having been knit together in love, may be encouraged, and that they may have all the riches that assurance brings in their understanding of the knowledge of the mystery of God, namely, Christ,

If you, O LORD, were to keep track of sins, O Lord, who could stand before you?But you are willing to forgive, so that you might be honored.

Yet he is compassionate. He forgives sin and does not destroy. He often holds back his anger, and does not stir up his fury.

When a sentence is not executed at once against a crime, the human heart is encouraged to do evil.

‘ The LORD is slow to anger and abounding in loyal love, forgiving iniquity and transgression, but by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children until the third and fourth generations.’

What shall we say then? Are we to remain in sin so that grace may increase?

But if that evil slave should say to himself,‘ My master is staying away a long time,’and he begins to beat his fellow slaves and to eat and drink with drunkards,

I pray that according to the wealth of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person,

Notice therefore the kindness and harshness of God– harshness toward those who have fallen, but God’s kindness toward you, provided you continue in his kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off.

But here is why I was treated with mercy: so that in me as the worst, Christ Jesus could demonstrate his utmost patience, as an example for those who are going to believe in him for eternal life.

He says to himself,“ God overlooks it; he does not pay attention; he never notices.”

But God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us,

Command those who are rich in this world’s goods not to be haughty or to set their hope on riches, which are uncertain, but on God who richly provides us with all things for our enjoyment.

“ Go and shout this message to my people in the countries in the north. Tell them,‘ Come back to me, wayward Israel,’ says the LORD.‘ I will not continue to look on you with displeasure. For I am merciful,’ says the LORD.‘ I will not be angry with you forever.However, you must confess that you have done wrong, and that you have rebelled against the LORD your God. You must confess that you have given yourself to foreign gods under every green tree, and have not obeyed my commands,’ says the LORD.

That person sings to others, saying:‘ I have sinned and falsified what is right, but I was not punished according to what I deserved.He redeemed my life from going down to the place of corruption, and my life sees the light!’“ Indeed, God does all these things, twice, three times, in his dealings with a person,to turn back his life from the place of corruption, that he may be enlightened with the light of life.

Above all, understand this: In the last days blatant scoffers will come, being propelled by their own evil urges

To me– less than the least of all the saints– this grace was given, to proclaim to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ

How many living things you have made, O LORD! You have exhibited great skill in making all of them; the earth is full of the living things you have made.

And my God will supply your every need according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.

I will tell of the faithful acts of the LORD, of the LORD’s praiseworthy deeds. I will tell about all the LORD did for us, the many good things he did for the family of Israel, because of his compassion and great faithfulness.He said,“ Certainly they will be my people, children who are not disloyal.” He became their deliverer.Through all that they suffered, he suffered too. The messenger sent from his very presence delivered them. In his love and mercy he protected them; he lifted them up and carried them throughout ancient times.But they rebelled and offended his holy Spirit, so he turned into an enemy and fought against them.

Then you will remember, be ashamed, and remain silent when I make atonement for all you have done, declares the sovereign LORD.’”

He prayed to the LORD and said,“ Oh, LORD, this is just what I thought would happen when I was in my own country. This is what I tried to prevent by attempting to escape to Tarshish!– because I knew that you are gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in mercy, and one who relents concerning threatened judgment.

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how fathomless his ways!

Then you come and stand in my presence in this temple I have claimed as my own and say,“ We are safe!” You think you are so safe that you go on doing all those hateful sins!

Certainly O Lord, you are kind and forgiving, and show great faithfulness to all who cry out to you.

Come back to me, you wayward people. I want to cure your waywardness. Say,‘ Here we are. We come to you because you are the LORD our God.We know our noisy worship of false gods on the hills and mountains did not help us. We know that the LORD our God is the only one who can deliver Israel.

“ Son of man, what is this proverb you have in the land of Israel,‘ The days pass slowly, and every vision fails’?Therefore tell them,‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says: I hereby end this proverb; they will not recite it in Israel any longer.’ But say to them,‘ The days are at hand when every vision will be fulfilled.

Listen! I am standing at the door and knocking! If anyone hears my voice and opens the door I will come into his home and share a meal with him, and he with me.

But when he came to his senses he said,‘ How many of my father’s hired workers have food enough to spare, but here I am dying from hunger!I will get up and go to my father and say to him,“ Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.I am no longer worthy to be called your son; treat me like one of your hired workers.”’

Afterward, the Israelites will turn and seek the LORD their God and their Davidic king. Then they will submit to the LORD in fear and receive his blessings in the future.
