You who make your boast in the law, do you dishonor God through breaking the law?

你指着律法夸口，自己倒犯律法、玷辱神吗？

你这以律法夸口的，自己倒违犯律法，羞辱上帝！

你这以律法夸口的，自己倒违犯律法，羞辱神！

你以律法自夸，自己却违犯律法羞辱上帝吗？

你既然以律法夸口，自己却因犯律法而羞辱神吗？

你这以律法夸耀的，难道自己还违犯律法侮辱神吗？

你指着律法誇口，自己倒犯律法、玷辱神嗎？

你這以律法誇口的，自己倒違犯律法，羞辱上帝！

你這以律法誇口的，自己倒違犯律法，羞辱神！

你以律法自誇，自己卻違犯律法羞辱上帝嗎？

你既然以律法誇口，自己卻因犯律法而羞辱神嗎？

你這指着律法而誇口的，你因違犯律法而侮辱上帝麼？

你這以律法誇耀的，難道自己還違犯律法侮辱神嗎？

爾以律自誇、而干律以辱上帝乎、

爾誇律法、而自犯法、辱上帝乎、

爾以律法為誇、而自犯律法辱天主乎、

而以法為誇者、豈可明知故犯、以辱天主乎？

You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law?

You brag about the law. But when you break it, you rob God of his honor!

You who boast in the law dishonor God by breaking the law.

You are so proud of knowing the law, but you dishonor God by breaking it.

You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law?

You who boast in the Law, through your breaking the Law, do you dishonor God?

thou who gloriest in the law, through thy transgression of the law dishonorest thou God?

You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law?

Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?

You who boast in the law dishonor God by transgressing the law!

You who glory in the law, do you dishonor God by disobeying the law?

Indeed you are called a Jew, and rest on the law, and make your boast in God,

Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you— Moses, in whom you trust.

who are Israelites, to whom pertain the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises;

Much in every way! Chiefly because to them were committed the oracles of God.

“ How can you say,‘ We are wise, And the law of the Lord is with us’? Look, the false pen of the scribe certainly works falsehood.The wise men are ashamed, They are dismayed and taken. Behold, they have rejected the word of the Lord; So what wisdom do they have?

The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself,‘ God, I thank You that I am not like other men— extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector.

Then they reviled him and said,“ You are His disciple, but we are Moses’ disciples.We know that God spoke to Moses; as for this fellow, we do not know where He is from.”

So He said to him,“ Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”He said to Him,“ Which ones?” Jesus said,“‘ You shall not murder,’‘ You shall not commit adultery,’‘ You shall not steal,’‘ You shall not bear false witness,’‘ Honor your father and your mother,’ and,‘ You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”The young man said to Him,“ All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?”

But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

He said to him,“ What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?”So he answered and said,“‘ You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and‘ your neighbor as yourself.’”And He said to him,“ You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.”But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus,“ And who is my neighbor?”

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless.Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
