Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don’t boast and don’t lie against the truth.This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic.For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without defect in the middle of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world,

“ For my people are foolish. They don’t know me. They are foolish children, and they have no understanding. They are skillful in doing evil, but they don’t know how to do good.”

From infancy, you have known the holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus.Every Scripture is God- breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness,that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord.

I will be careful to live a blameless life. When will you come to me? I will walk within my house with a blameless heart.

Therefore don’t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

But when Timothy came just now to us from you, and brought us glad news of your faith and love, and that you have good memories of us always, longing to see us, even as we also long to see you,for this cause, brothers, we were comforted over you in all our distress and affliction through your faith.For now we live, if you stand fast in the Lord.For what thanksgiving can we render again to God for you, for all the joy with which we rejoice for your sakes before our God,night and day praying exceedingly that we may see your face, and may perfect that which is lacking in your faith?
