我们若死了，是为主而死。所以，我们无论活着或是死了，总是属于主的人。

蓋吾人之生也、為主而生；死也、為主而死；生為主之徒、死為主之屬、如是而已矣。

If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

If we live, we live to honor the Lord. If we die, we die to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

我所热切期待和盼望的，就是在凡事上我都不会羞愧，只要满有胆量，不论生死，总要让基督在我身上照常被尊为大。

基督替我们死，使我们无论是醒着或睡着，都和他一同活着。

只是各人要按着自己的次序：初熟的果子是基督，以后，在他来的时候，是那些属基督的人。

保罗却回答：“你们为什么哭，使我心碎呢？我为主耶稣的名，不但被捆绑，就算死在耶路撒冷我也都准备好了。”

即使把我浇奠在你们信心的祭物和供奉上，我也喜乐，并且和你们大家一同喜乐。

“大卫在他自己的世代里，遵行了神的计划，就睡了，归回他列祖那里，见了朽坏。

我们若信耶稣死了，又复活了，照样，也应该相信那些靠着耶稣已经睡了的人，神必定把他们和耶稣一同带来。我们现在照着主的话告诉你们：我们这些活着存留到主再来的人，绝不能在那些睡了的人以先。因为主必亲自从天降临，那时，有发令的声音，有天使长的呼声，还有神的号声，那些在基督里死了的人必先复活；然后，我们还活着存留的人，必和他们一同被提到云里，在空中与主相会。这样，我们就要和主常常同在。所以，你们应该用这些话彼此劝慰。

我听见从天上有声音说：“你要写下来！从今以后，那在主里死去的人有福了！”圣灵说：“是的，他们脱离自己的劳苦，得享安息了，他们的作为也随着他们。”

因他为了基督的工作，冒着生命的危险，差一点丧了命，为的是要补满你们服事我不足的地方。

但我并不珍惜自己的性命，只求跑完我的路程，完成我从主耶稣所领受的职分，为神恩惠的福音作见证。

耶稣说这话，是指明彼得将怎样死，来荣耀神。说了这话，就对彼得说：“你跟从我吧！”

无论是保罗，是亚波罗，是矶法，是世界，是生，是死，是现在的事，是将来的事，都是你们的。你们是属基督的，基督是属神的。
