耶穌說：“這樣，凱撒的應當歸給凱撒，神的應當歸給神。”

他說：“納。”他進到屋子裡，耶穌先問他：“西門，你認為怎樣？地上的君王向誰徵收關稅和丁稅？向自己的兒子還是外人呢？”

要尊重眾人，愛護弟兄，敬畏神，尊敬君王。你們作僕人的，要凡事敬畏順服主人，不單是對善良溫和的，就是乖僻的也要順服。

無論怎樣，你們各人都要愛自己的妻子，好像愛自己一樣。妻子也應當敬重丈夫。

他們回答：“凱撒的。”他就對他們說：“凱撒的應當歸給凱撒，神的應當歸給神。”

我兒，你要敬畏耶和華，也要尊敬君王；不要與叛逆的人結交。

那些善於治理教會的長老，尤其是那些在講道和教導上勞苦的長老，你們應當看他們是配受加倍的敬重和供奉的。

同時，她們懶惰慣了，挨家閒遊；不但懶惰，而且好說閒話，好管閒事，說不該說的話。

“要孝敬父母，使你得福，在世長壽。”這是第一條帶著應許的誡命。

控告他說：“我們查出這個人煽惑我們的同胞，阻止納稅給凱撒，並且自稱是基督，是王。”

凡負軛作奴僕的，應當看自己的主人是配受十分的敬重，免得神的名和道理被人褻瀆。

你們作僕人的，要存著敬畏、戰兢和真誠的心，聽從世上的主人，好像聽從基督一樣。

照樣，你們作丈夫的，也要合情合理的與妻子同住。要體諒她比你軟弱，要尊敬她，因為她是和你一同承受生命的恩典的。這樣，就使你們的禱告不受攔阻。

“在白髮的人面前，你要起立；要尊敬老年人，又要敬畏你的神；我是耶和華。

各人要孝敬父母，也要謹守我的安息日；我是耶和華你們的神。

於是撒母耳向耶和華呼求，耶和華就在那天打雷降雨，眾民就非常懼怕耶和華和撒母耳。

“要孝敬父母，使你在耶和華你的神賜給你的地上得享長壽。

耶穌說：“凱撒的應當歸給凱撒，神的應當歸給神。”他們就對他十分驚奇。
