惟衣被主耶穌基督、爾為身慮、勿致縱慾、

務須服膺吾主耶穌基督、有如衣之被體。毋汲汲以滿足情慾為事也。

Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.

Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ as if he were your clothing. Don’t think about how to satisfy sinful desires.

But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.

Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires.

For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.

Dear friends, I urge you as foreigners and exiles to keep away from fleshly desires that do battle against the soul,

But I say, live by the Spirit and you will not carry out the desires of the flesh.For the flesh has desires that are opposed to the Spirit, and the Spirit has desires that are opposed to the flesh, for these are in opposition to each other, so that you cannot do what you want.

and have been clothed with the new man that is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of the one who created it.Here there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all and in all.Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with a heart of mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience,

Now those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

So then, brothers and sisters, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh( for if you live according to the flesh, you will die), but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body you will live.

So put to deat h whatever in your nature belongs to the earth: sexual immorality, impurity, shameful passion, evil desire, and greed which is idolatry.Because of these things the wrath of God is coming on the sons of disobedience.You also lived your lives in this way at one time, when you used to live among them.But now, put off all such things as anger, rage, malice, slander, abusive language from your mouth.

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him,because all that is in the world( the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the arrogance produced by material possessions) is not from the Father, but is from the world.And the world is passing away with all its desires, but the person who does the will of God remains forever.

I put on righteousness and it clothed me, my just dealing was like a robe and a turban;
