But if ye have bitter jealousy and faction in your heart, glory not and lie not against the truth.This wisdom is not a wisdom that cometh down from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.For where jealousy and faction are, there is confusion and every vile deed.

Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ: that, whether I come and see you or be absent, I may hear of your state, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one soul striving for the faith of the gospel;

and walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a sweet smell.But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as becometh saints;nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, or jesting, which are not befitting: but rather giving of thanks.For this ye know of a surety, that no fornicator, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
