是故爾宜滌瑕盪穢、徹私去蔽、以謙誠溫和之意、領受其所植於爾心田之聖道。惟斯道能全爾靈。

棄絕故我、不復沉湎聲色、日趨朽壞。

蓋爾皆為光明之子、旦晝之人、非屬於暮夜與黑暗也。故吾人不欲效世人之醉生夢死、常宜昭昭惺惺、淡泊有節。蓋沉睡者必於昏夜、狂飲者亦必於昏夜。吾人既屬旦晝、可不恆懷惕若、終日乾乾、擁信愛以為甲、戴望德以為胄、而期待救恩乎。

務以天主之全副武裝自被、以應付魔鬼之戰略。蓋吾人之對敵、非區區血氣之屬、乃諸品惡神、黑暗世界之權威領袖以及充塞雲霄之眾魔也。因是之故、惟執有天主之全副武器、足以自全於危難之日、且於勝利之後、尚能屹立不搖、而遊刃有餘也。是以望爾等立定腳跟、以真理束腰、以正義護胸、以敏捷為履、載欣載奔、以傳平和之嘉音。尤須常執信德之盾、以禦元兇之火箭；亦宜戴望德之盔、佩聖神之劍、所謂聖神之劍者、即天主所發之言也。當憑聖神之靈感祈禱不輟儆醒不倦、且為諸聖籲告、

務須服膺吾主耶穌基督、有如衣之被體。毋汲汲以滿足情慾為事也。

夫真光入世、而世人以行為邪惡故、獨愛黑暗、而不愛光明；故曰譴在其中矣。蓋行為不正者、必惡真光、而莫敢與之近、惟恐其行為之見燭也。至踐履真道者、自與真光相親、所以彰其所行悉與天主相契合也。』

又曰：「勿封緘斯書之預言；時已近矣！

凡讀此預言、及聞而守之者、洵為有福；蓋時已近矣。
