愛友乎、勿自伸冤、寧待主怒、記有之、主曰、伸冤在我、我將報之、

凡我良朋、毋伸己冤、寧待主怒、記有之、主曰、伸冤在我、我必報之、

愛友乎、勿伸己冤、寧禁止爾怒、寧禁止爾怒或作人忿怒寧聽之經載主曰、伸冤在我、我必報應、又云、

人以橫逆相加、望我兄弟無思自為報復、靜候天討可也。主不云乎、『報復乃吾之事也；賞善罰惡、有吾在焉。』

Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written:“ It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.

My dear friends, don’t try to get even. Leave room for God to show his anger. It is written,“ I am the God who judges people. I will pay them back,”( Deuteronomy 32:35) says the Lord.

Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written,“ Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”

Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say,“ I will take revenge; I will pay them back,” says the Lord.

Friends, do not avenge yourselves; instead, leave room for God’s wrath, because it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.

Don’t say,“ I will do to him as he has done to me; I will repay the man according to his work.”

Don’t say,“ I will pay back evil.” Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you.

Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men.

“‘ You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am Yahweh.

But I tell you, don’t resist him who is evil; but whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also.

that no one should take advantage of and wrong a brother or sister in this matter; because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as also we forewarned you and testified.

Rejoice, you nations, with his people, for he will avenge the blood of his servants. He will take vengeance on his adversaries, and will make atonement for his land and for his people.

Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don’t curse.

for he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn’t bear the sword in vain; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil.

“ But I tell you who hear: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you.To him who strikes you on the cheek, offer also the other; and from him who takes away your cloak, don’t withhold your coat also.

Don’t rejoice when your enemy falls. Don’t let your heart be glad when he is overthrown,lest Yahweh see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.Don’t fret yourself because of evildoers, neither be envious of the wicked;

Blessed is your discretion, and blessed are you, who have kept me today from blood guiltiness, and from avenging myself with my own hand.

Yahweh is a jealous God and avenges. Yahweh avenges and is full of wrath. Yahweh takes vengeance on his adversaries, and he maintains wrath against his enemies.Yahweh is slow to anger, and great in power, and will by no means leave the guilty unpunished. Yahweh has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

Yahweh, you God to whom vengeance belongs, you God to whom vengeance belongs, shine out.Rise up, you judge of the earth. Pay back the proud what they deserve.Yahweh, how long will the wicked, how long will the wicked triumph?

Now therefore, my lord, as Yahweh lives, and as your soul lives, since Yahweh has withheld you from blood guiltiness, and from avenging yourself with your own hand, now therefore let your enemies, and those who seek evil to my lord, be as Nabal.

But he turned and rebuked them,“ You don’t know of what kind of spirit you are.For the Son of Man didn’t come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.” They went to another village.

“‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ Because Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended, and taken revenge on them;”
