惟由信之義如斯云、勿心內曰、孰能升天、言使基督降下、

而因信成義之道則云：『毋私心妄想、誰能登天、以降基督於人間？

But the righteousness that is by faith says:“ Do not say in your heart,‘ Who will ascend into heaven?’”( that is, to bring Christ down)

But the way to do what God requires must begin by having faith in him. Scripture says,“ Do not say in your heart,‘ Who will go up into heaven?’ ”( Deuteronomy 30:12) That means to go up into heaven and bring Christ down.

But the righteousness based on faith says,“ Do not say in your heart,‘ Who will ascend into heaven?’”( that is, to bring Christ down)

But faith’s way of getting right with God says,“ Don’t say in your heart,‘ Who will go up to heaven?’( to bring Christ down to earth).

But the righteousness that comes from faith speaks like this: Do not say in your heart,“ Who will go up to heaven?” that is, to bring Christ down

But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows:“ Do not say in your heart,‘ Who will go up into heaven?’( that is, to bring Christ down),

But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way,“ Do not say in your heart,‘ Who will ascend into heaven?’”( that is, to bring Christ down from above)

But the righteousness which is of faith saith thus, Say not in thy heart, Who shall ascend into heaven?( that is, to bring Christ down:)

But the righteousness that comes from faith speaks like this: Do not say in your heart,“ Who will go up to heaven?” that is, to bring Christ down

But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven?( that is, to bring Christ down[ from above]:)

“其實我今日吩咐你的這誡命，對你並不太難，離你也不太遠。這誡命不是在天上，以致你說：‘誰替我們上到天上去，為我們取下來，使我們聽見，就可以遵行呢？’也不是在海外，以致你說：‘誰替我們過海去，為我們取回來，使我們聽見，就可以遵行呢？’其實這話離你很近，就在你口裡，也在你心裡，使你可以遵行。

所以他說：“他升上高天的時候，擄了許多俘虜，把賞賜給了人。”（“他升上”這句話是甚麼意思呢？他不是也曾降到地上嗎？那降下的，就是那升到諸天之上的，為了要使他充滿萬有。）

我對你們講地上的事，你們尚且不信，如果講天上的事，怎能相信呢？除了那從天上降下來的人子（有些抄本作“除了那從天上降下來仍舊在天上的人子”），沒有人升過天。

誰升上天，又降下來呢？誰收聚風在掌中呢？誰包水在衣服裡呢？誰立定地的四極呢？他的名字叫甚麼？他兒子的名字叫甚麼？你知道嗎？

這是從天上降下來的食物，使人吃了就不死。我就是從天上降下來生命的食物，人若吃了這食物，就必活到永遠。我要賜的食物就是我的肉，是為了世人的生命而賜的。”

因著信，挪亞在還沒有看見的事上，得了神的警告，就動了敬畏的心，做了一艘方舟，使他全家得救。藉著這信心，他就定了那世代的罪，自己也承受了那因信而來的義。

並且得以在他裡面，不是有自己因律法而得的義，而是有因信基督而得的義，就是基於信心，從神而來的義，

因為我從天上降下來，不是要行自己的意思，而是要行那差我來者的旨意。

因為神的食物就是從天上降下來，把生命賜給世人的那一位。”

神設立了耶穌為贖罪祭（“贖罪祭”直譯作“贖罪或使神息怒之法”），是憑著他的血，藉著人的信，為的是要顯明神的義；因為神用忍耐的心寬容了人從前所犯的罪，

他是神榮耀的光輝，是神本質的真象，用自己帶有能力的話掌管萬有；他作成了潔淨罪惡的事，就坐在高天至尊者的右邊。

原來神給亞伯拉罕和他後裔承受世界的應許，並不是因著律法，而是藉著因信而來的義。

這就是從天上降下來的食物，不像嗎哪，你們的祖宗吃過，還是死了；吃這食物的，必活到永遠。”

就是神的義，因著信耶穌基督，毫無區別地臨到所有信的人。

既是這樣，我們還有甚麼可說的呢？那不追求義的外族人卻得了義，就是因信而得的義。但以色列人追求律法的義（“律法的義”原文作“義的律法”），卻達不到律法的要求。
