Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.

Christ has fulfilled everything the law was meant to do. So now everyone who believes can be right with God.

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God.

The law, then, was our guardian until Christ, so that we could be justified by faith.

What the law could not do since it was limited by the flesh, God did. He condemned sin in the flesh by sending His own Son in flesh like ours under sin’s domain, and as a sin offering,in order that the law’s requirement would be accomplished in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

“ Don’t assume that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.For I assure you: Until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or one stroke of a letter will pass from the law until all things are accomplished.

Therefore, let it be known to you, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is being proclaimed to you,and everyone who believes in Him is justified from everything that you could not be justified through the law of Moses.

for the law was given through Moses, grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

He will see it out of His anguish, and He will be satisfied with His knowledge. My righteous Servant will justify many, and He will carry their iniquities.

Since I am speaking to those who understand law, brothers, are you unaware that the law has authority over someone as long as he lives?For example, a married woman is legally bound to her husband while he lives. But if her husband dies, she is released from the law regarding the husband.So then, if she gives herself to another man while her husband is living, she will be called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is free from that law. Then, if she gives herself to another man, she is not an adulteress.Therefore, my brothers, you also were put to death in relation to the law through the crucified body of the Messiah, so that you may belong to another— to Him who was raised from the dead— that we may bear fruit for God.

These are a shadow of what was to come; the substance is the Messiah.

After He says above, You did not want or delight in sacrifices and offerings, whole burnt offerings and sin offerings( which are offered according to the law),He then says, See, I have come to do Your will. He takes away the first to establish the second.By this will of God, we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once and for all.Every priest stands day after day ministering and offering the same sacrifices time after time, which can never take away sins.But this man, after offering one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God.

God presented Him as a propitiation through faith in His blood, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His restraint God passed over the sins previously committed.God presented Him to demonstrate His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be righteous and declare righteous the one who has faith in Jesus.Where then is boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? By one of works? No, on the contrary, by a law of faith.For we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.Or is God for Jews only? Is He not also for Gentiles? Yes, for Gentiles too,since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.Do we then cancel the law through faith? Absolutely not! On the contrary, we uphold the law.

Jesus answered him,“ Allow it for now, because this is the way for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him to be baptized.

But the high priest alone enters the second room, and he does that only once a year, and never without blood, which he offers for himself and for the sins of the people committed in ignorance.The Holy Spirit was making it clear that the way into the most holy place had not yet been disclosed while the first tabernacle was still standing.This is a symbol for the present time, during which gifts and sacrifices are offered that cannot perfect the worshiper’s conscience.They are physical regulations and only deal with food, drink, and various washings imposed until the time of restoration.But the Messiah has appeared, high priest of the good things that have come. In the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands( that is, not of this creation),He entered the most holy place once for all, not by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood, having obtained eternal redemption.For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a young cow, sprinkling those who are defiled, sanctify for the purification of the flesh,how much more will the blood of the Messiah, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse our consciences from dead works to serve the living God?

and you have been filled by Him, who is the head over every ruler and authority.

For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are sanctified.

But it is from Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became God-given wisdom for us— our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption,

— that is, God’s righteousness through faith in Jesus Christ, to all who believe, since there is no distinction.
