自創世以來、上帝之永能神性、即所莫見者、已明見矣、乃由所造之物而知之、致人末由推諉、

天主不可見之事、即其永能、及其為天主之真、目不可見、自造天地以來、乃可明知、因觀其所造之物而悟、致人無由推諉、

蓋自有世以來、天主形而上之神性靈德、實可憑其所造之萬物而辨認洞見也。然則世人亦烏得而推諉乎？

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities— his eternal power and divine nature— have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

耶和華兮命甫頒而穹蒼受造、言一出而天象羅布兮、使彼海水匯於一區、藏於深淵兮、耶和華兮、天下當寅畏之、億兆當敬凜之兮、主曰、宜有物、則有物、宜奠定、則奠定兮、

法銘於心、以行彰之、內自為證、而其思慮、時寓褒貶、

我觀爾所造之穹蒼、又星月之輝光、

立地於四維、永不遷移兮、

願尊榮常歸永生之君、無敝無形、獨一睿智上帝、垂至世世、

未有人見上帝、惟獨生子、在父懷者、彰明之、○

惟彼永生、處於光明、眾不能至、人所未見、亦不得見、願以尊榮權力稱之、永世靡暨、

爾仰觀天象、有日月星辰焉、恐爾迷眩、奉事崇拜之、天下億兆既行此、爾之上帝耶和華亦姑聽之、

我之腎腸、爾所締造、我在母懷、爾所甄陶兮、

爾言真實、歷世不易、維彼大地、為爾奠定兮、

若我未來誨之、則其人無罪、今其罪不得辭矣、

是以爾責人、無可推諉、蓋爾責人、適以罪己、誠爾所責者、躬自蹈之也、

我見日月輝光、心不搖惑、手不接吻以為禮、恐違至上之上帝、為士師所罰。

彼象無形之上帝、生於萬物先、

何況基督賴恆在之神、自無瑕垢、而獻己與上帝、其血能淨爾心、去妄行、使事永生之上帝乎、

耶和華之榮光、恆久弗失、著其經綸、而悅懌兮、

耶和華為永生上帝、爾當恆賴、

今以先知之書昭著、遵永生上帝命、示異邦使之信服、

子將誕生、上帝所賜、我受其益、彼必負荷國政、其名不一、稱為神妙哲士、全能上帝、永生之主、平康之君、

摩西有信、則離埃及不惴王怒、其恆心如見無形之上帝、

上帝盛德、悉在基督、

既為上帝亦子、則上帝之體、不可以若金、若銀、若石、人工機巧琢之、

曰不智之徒、無慧者流、有目而不見、有耳而不聞、宜聽斯言。

電閃雹降、雪飄霞起、狂風驟作、俱遵耶和華之命兮、千山萬嶺、結果樹、柏香木、百獸六畜、昆蟲飛鳥、列王人民、牧伯士師、幼男稚女、耆老孩提、

永生之上帝為爾逋逃之藪、扶持爾眾、手恆不疲、驅敵於爾前、使殲滅之、

山崗未為爾所立、寰宇未為爾所造、自亘古迄叔季、爾為上帝、無始無終兮、

如此、則可為天父之子、蓋天父以日照夫善不善、以雨濡夫義不義者也、

亞伯拉罕植林木於別是巴禱告耶和華、永生之上帝。
