If I preach because I want to, I get a reward. If I preach because I have to, I’m only doing my duty.

And I won’t brag about work done by others. If I did, I would be bragging more than I should. As your faith continues to grow, I hope that my work among you will greatly increase.Then I will be able to preach the good news in the areas beyond you. I don’t want to brag about work already done in someone else’s territory.

Do you really want to give? Then the gift is measured by what someone has. It is not measured by what they don’t have.

I have always wanted to preach the good news where Christ was not known. I don’t want to build on what someone else has started.
