The goat became very great. But when its power was at its greatest, the goat’s large horn was broken off. In its place four large horns grew up toward the four winds of heaven.

The Lord will use war to punish Israel. He will make them leave their land. With a strong blast of his anger he will drive them out. It will be as if the east wind were blowing.

Then the Lord said to me,“ Prophesy to the breath. Prophesy, son of man. Tell it,‘ The Lord and King says,“ Breath, come from all four directions. Go into these people who have been killed. Then they can live.” ’ ”

The voice spoke to the sixth angel who had the trumpet. The voice said,“ Set the four angels free who are held at the great river Euphrates.”

He replied,“ Your faith is so small! Why are you so afraid?” Then Jesus got up and ordered the winds and the waves to stop. It became completely calm.The disciples were amazed. They asked,“ What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”

“ Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees,” he said.“ Wait until we mark with this seal the foreheads of those who serve our God.”

They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree. They were supposed to harm only the people without God’s official seal on their foreheads.

Then I looked up and saw four animal horns.I spoke to the angel who was talking with me.“ What are these horns?” I asked. He said,“ They are the powerful nations that scattered Judah, Israel and Jerusalem.”Then the Lord showed me four skilled workers.

But the Lord sent a strong wind over the Mediterranean Sea. A wild storm came up. It was so wild that the ship was in danger of breaking apart.

He will lift up a banner. It will show the nations that he is gathering the people of Israel. He’ll bring back those who had been taken away as prisoners. He’ll gather together the scattered people of Judah. He’ll bring them back from all four directions.

I looked up again and saw four chariots. They were coming out from between two mountains. The mountains were made out of bronze.

After this I looked, and there in front of me was a door standing open in heaven. I heard the voice I had heard before. It sounded like a trumpet. The voice said,“ Come up here. I will show you what must happen after this.”At once the Holy Spirit gave me a vision. There in front of me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it.The one who sat there shone like jasper and ruby. Around the throne was a rainbow shining like an emerald.Twenty- four other thrones surrounded that throne. Twenty- four elders were sitting on them. The elders were dressed in white. They had gold crowns on their heads.From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and thunder. Seven lamps were blazing in front of the throne. These stand for the seven spirits of God.There was something that looked like a sea of glass in front of the throne. It was as clear as crystal. In the inner circle, around the throne, were four living creatures. They were covered with eyes, in front and in back.

Next, I heard what sounded like a voice coming from among the four living creatures. It said,“ Two pounds of wheat for a day’s pay. And six pounds of barley for a day’s pay. And leave the olive oil and the wine alone!”

“ I am the Lord. I watch over my vineyard. I water it all the time. I guard it day and night. I do it so no one can harm it.
