而乞靈於山石曰：「其速覆吾身、掩吾人於居寶座者之顏、與羔羊之怒；

我立刻就在靈裡了，看哪，有一個寶座安放在天上，有一位坐在寶座上。

接著，我看見一個白色的大寶座和坐在它上面的那一位。地和天都從他面前逃避，連它們的地方也找不到了。

也要使你們這些受患難的人與我們一同得到安息。神要在烈火中報應那些不認識神的人，以及那些不順從我們主耶穌福音的人；他們將受到刑罰，就是永遠的滅亡，從主面前被隔絕，離開他權能的榮耀。

你將用鐵杖打破他們，把他們像陶匠的器皿那樣打碎。」因此，君王們哪，你們當慎思明辨！地上的審判官哪，你們當接受警戒！你們當在敬畏中服事耶和華，當在戰兢中快樂！當親吻他的兒子，否則他一發怒，你們就在所行的路上滅亡，因為他的怒火片刻間就會燃起！所有投靠他的人是多麼蒙福啊！

耶穌回答他，說：「你已經說了。不過我告訴你們：將來你們會看見人子坐在全能者的右邊，在天上的雲彩中來臨。」

耶和華在你的右邊；他必在烈怒的日子裡擊碎君王們。他將在列國中施行審判，使列國屍橫遍野；他將擊碎全地的首領。

從寶座中發出閃電、聲音和雷鳴；在寶座前，有七支燃燒著的火把，就是神的七個靈；

指著活到永永遠遠的那一位，就是創造了天和天上之物、地和地上之物、海和海中之物的那一位，起誓說：「不再有時間了！

每當四個活物把榮耀、尊貴和感謝歸給坐在寶座上、活到永永遠遠的那一位時，

你的手找出你一切的仇敵，你的右手找出那些恨你的人。當你出現的時候，你要使他們如同燃燒的火爐；耶和華必在他的怒氣中吞滅他們，他的烈火必把他們吞噬。你從地上消滅他們的後代，從世人中消滅他們的後裔。他們雖然向你圖謀惡事、謀劃詭計，卻不能成功，因為你必使他們轉背而逃；你必拉開弓弦，對準他們的臉。

他們大聲呼喊說：「神聖、真實的主啊！你不施行審判，不為我們的血向住在地上的人討回公道，還要多久呢？」

然而，他們會大大恐懼，因為神與那世代的義人同在。

那與我說話的天使對我說：「你要宣告說：『萬軍之耶和華如此說：我為耶路撒冷，為錫安大發嫉妒之心。我對安逸的列國大大震怒，因為我從前對我的子民只是稍微發怒，列國卻對他們變本加厲。

從他口中發出一把利劍，好用它來擊打列國。他將用鐵杖治理列國，並且要踐踏酒榨，就是神、全能者烈怒的酒榨。
