Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains.

Everyone hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. This included the kings of the earth, the princes and the generals. It included rich people and powerful people. It also included everyone else, both slaves and people who were free.

Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains,

Then everyone— the kings of the earth, the rulers, the generals, the wealthy, the powerful, and every slave and free person— all hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains.

Then the kings of the earth, the nobles, the generals, the rich, the powerful, and every slave and free person hid in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains.

Then the kings of the earth and the eminent people, and the commanders and the wealthy and the strong, and every slave and free person hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains;

Then the kings of the earth, the very important people, the generals, the rich, the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains.

The kings of the earth, the princes, the commanding officers, the rich, the strong, and every slave and free person, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains.

耶和華起來震動大地的時候，人必進入磐石穴、土洞中，躲避耶和華令人恐懼的面和他威嚴的榮光。

你們要進入磐石，要藏身在土中，躲避耶和華令人恐懼的面和他威嚴的榮光。

到那日，耶和華必在高天懲罰天上的眾軍，在地上懲罰地上的列王。他們必被聚在一起，像地牢中被囚的人；他們被關進監獄，多日以後必受懲罰。

這是為了在耶和華起來震動大地的時候，他們能進入磐石縫、巖隙中，躲避耶和華令人恐懼的面和他威嚴的榮光。

因此，君王們哪，你們當慎思明辨！地上的審判官哪，你們當接受警戒！你們當在敬畏中服事耶和華，當在戰兢中快樂！當親吻他的兒子，否則他一發怒，你們就在所行的路上滅亡，因為他的怒火片刻間就會燃起！所有投靠他的人是多麼蒙福啊！

他挫敗領袖們的心志，被地上的君王所敬畏。

以色列人看見形勢危急，處境窘迫，軍兵就躲藏在洞穴裡、叢林中、巖石間、地窖裡和坑裡。

他身穿一件浸過血的袍子；他的名字叫「神的話語」。天上的軍兵，都騎著白馬，身穿潔白乾淨的細麻衣，跟隨著他。從他口中發出一把利劍，好用它來擊打列國。他將用鐵杖治理列國，並且要踐踏酒榨，就是神、全能者烈怒的酒榨。在他的袍子上、大腿上寫著一個名號：「萬王之王，萬主之主。」隨後，我看見一位天使站在太陽中，對所有在空中飛翔的鳥大聲呼喊說：「來吧，聚集起來赴神的大宴席，為要吃君王的肉、軍官的肉、壯士的肉、馬和騎士的肉，以及各種人的肉，包括自由人和奴隸，卑微人和尊貴人的肉。」接著，我看見那獸和地上的眾君王以及他們的軍兵聚集在一起，要與騎白馬的那一位和他的軍隊作戰。但那獸被抓了；那假先知也與牠一起被抓了——他在獸面前行了許多奇蹟，藉此迷惑那些接受獸的印記並膜拜獸像的人。獸和那假先知兩個都活生生地被丟進燃燒著硫磺的火湖裡。其餘的人，也都被騎白馬那一位口中所發出的劍殺死了。所有的鳥都吃飽了他們的肉。

他們是這世界不配有的。他們在曠野、山嶺、岩穴、地洞中漂流無定。

耶和華在你的右邊；他必在烈怒的日子裡擊碎君王們。他將在列國中施行審判，使列國屍橫遍野；他將擊碎全地的首領。

萬民哪，你們當聽這話！當傾聽，世上所有的居民哪——無論地位高低、或貧或富，都當傾聽。

地上的眾君王，就是那些與她行淫亂、一同驕奢淫逸的，當看見焚燒她時的煙，就會為她捶胸哀哭。他們因懼怕她所受的折磨，就遠遠地站著，說：「有禍了！有禍了！宏大的城，強大的巴比倫城啊！因為一時之間，你的審判就來到了！」地上的商人也為她哭泣、悲傷，因為再也沒有人買他們的貨物了；

但這子民是被掠奪、被搶掠的，全被困陷在洞穴中，被關藏在牢房裡。他們成了掠物，無人解救；他們成了擄物，無人說：「把他們還回來！」
