「你要給那在薩迪斯教會的使者寫信說：「那位有神的七個靈和七顆星的，這樣說：我知道你的行為，你名義上是活的，其實你是死的。

“你要写信给撒狄教会的使者，说：‘那有神的七灵和七星的，说：我知道你的行为，按名你是活的，其实是死的。

“你要写信给撒狄教会的使者，说：‘那有上帝的七灵和七颗星的这样说：我知道你的行为，就是名义上你是活的，实际上你是死的。

“你要写信给撒狄教会的使者，说：‘那有神的七灵和七颗星的这样说：我知道你的行为，就是名义上你是活的，实际上你是死的。

“你要写信告诉撒狄教会的天使，有上帝的七灵又有七颗星的主说，‘我知道你的行为，你名义上活着，实际上是死的。

“你要写信给在撒狄教会的使者，说：‘那有神七灵和七星的这样说：我知道你的行为，你有名声，说你是活着的，其实你是死的。

「你要寫信告訴撒狄教會的天使，有上帝的七靈又有七顆星的主說，『我知道你的行為，你名義上活著，實際上是死的。

『你要寫信給在撒狄教會的使者說：『「那擁有着上帝之七靈和七星的這麼說：我知道你的行為：你名雖是活着，其實乃是死的。

當書達撒狄會之使者云、有上帝之七神、及七星者、曰、我知爾諸行、名生而實死、

爾當書達撒狄會使者、曰、主有上帝七神、執七星、言曰、吾知爾所為、名生實死、

爾當書達撒狄教會使者、曰、有天主七神、又執七星者、如是云、我知爾之作為、名為生、實則死、

爾其寓書於撒爾底教會之守護天神曰：彼具有天主之七神與七星者、有所曉諭於爾：吾知爾之行實；爾雖生實死、

“ To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.

“ Here is what I command you to write to the church in Sardis. Here are the words of Jesus, who holds the seven spirits of God. He has the seven stars in his hand. He says,‘ I know what you are doing. People think you are alive, but you are dead.

“ And to the angel of the church in Sardis write:‘ The words of him who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars.“‘ I know your works. You have the reputation of being alive, but you are dead.

“ Write this letter to the angel of the church in Sardis. This is the message from the one who has the sevenfold Spirit of God and the seven stars:“ I know all the things you do, and that you have a reputation for being alive— but you are dead.

“ Write to the angel of the church in Sardis: Thus says the one who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars: I know your works; you have a reputation for being alive, but you are dead.

“ To the angel of the church in Sardis write: He who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars, says this:‘ I know your deeds, that you have a name that you are alive, and yet you are dead.

“ And to the angel of the church in Sardis write,‘ These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars:“ I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.

And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars: I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and thou art dead.

“ Write to the angel of the church in Sardis:“ The One who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars says: I know your works; you have a reputation for being alive, but you are dead.

And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

“ To the angel of the church in Sardis write the following:“ This is the solemn pronouncement of the one who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars:‘ I know your deeds, that you have a reputation that you are alive, but in reality you are dead.

“ And to the angel of the assembly in Sardis write:“ He who has the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars says these things:“ I know your works, that you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.

而那享樂度日的寡婦，雖然活著，卻是死的。

約翰，致那在亞細亞省的七個教會：願恩典與平安，從今在、昔在、將要來臨的那一位，從他寶座前的七個靈，

要知道，就像身體沒有靈魂是死的，照樣，信仰沒有行為也是死的。

我知道你的行為，包括你的愛心、信仰、服事和忍耐，也知道你最近所做的比先前的更多。

你們從前在自己的過犯和沒有受割禮的肉體中是死的，神卻使你們與基督一同活過來了。神已經赦免了我們的一切過犯，

這些人在你們的愛筵中是汙點，與你們一起吃喝也無所懼怕；他們只牧養自己；他們是無水的雲，隨風飄蕩；是深秋不結果子的樹，死了又死，被連根拔起；

甚至當我們還死在過犯中的時候，就使我們與基督一同活過來——你們得救是藉著恩典！

現在，我們應該慶祝、歡喜，因為你這個弟弟是死而復生、失而復得的。』」

因為我這個兒子是死而復生、失而復得的。』於是他們開始慶祝。

在他的右手中拿著七顆星；從他口中發出一把雙刃的利劍；他的面容好像烈日發光。

你們因著自己的過犯和罪孽，原是死的；

我知道你居住的地方，就是撒旦寶座所在的地方。不過即使在我忠心的見證人安提帕的那些日子裡，你還持守我的名，也沒有否認對我的信仰；這安提帕是在你們那裡，也就是在撒旦居住的地方被殺害的。

從寶座中發出閃電、聲音和雷鳴；在寶座前，有七支燃燒著的火把，就是神的七個靈；

說：「把你所看見的寫在書卷上，送到那七個教會：以弗所、士每拿、佩爾伽馬、錫亞蒂拉、薩迪斯、費拉德菲亞和勞迪西亞。」

隨後，我看見在寶座和四個活物當中，在長老們當中，站著一隻羔羊，好像是被殺過的。羔羊有七隻角和七隻眼，那七隻眼就是神的七個靈，是奉差派往全地去的。

神所差派的那一位，就說神的話語，因為神不靠著量度賜下聖靈。

你所看見的，我右手中的七顆星，和這七座金燈臺的奧祕就是：七顆星是七個教會的使者，七座燈臺是七個教會。「你要給那在以弗所教會的使者寫信說：「那位右手握著七顆星、在七座金燈臺中間行走的，這樣說：我知道你的行為，包括你的勞苦和忍耐，也知道你不能容忍惡人。你曾考驗那些自稱是使徒，其實不是使徒的，而且看出他們是假的。

原來從他的豐盛完美中，我們都領受了恩典，而且恩上加恩。

我以前也不認識他，可是那派我用水施洗的對我說：『如果你看見聖靈降臨在誰身上，又停留在誰身上，誰就是用聖靈施洗的那一位。』

說了這話，耶穌向他們吹了一口氣，說：「領受聖靈吧！

他們查考了自己裡面基督之靈，當他預言有關基督的苦難和此後的榮耀時，究竟指明的是什麼時候、或什麼樣的情況。

節期的最後一天，也是最盛大的日子，耶穌站起來呼喊說：「如果有人渴了，就到我這裡來喝吧！信我的人，就如經上所說的，從他的腹中將要湧流出活水的江河。」耶穌這話是指著信他的人所要領受的聖靈而說的。當時，聖靈還沒有臨到，因為耶穌還沒有得榮耀。

他被高舉在神的右邊，從父領受了所應許的聖靈，就將聖靈傾注了下來。這正是你們現在所看見所聽見的。

我知道你的患難和貧窮；其實你是富有的。我也知道從那些自稱是猶太人而來的毀謗，其實他們不是猶太人，而是屬於撒旦會堂的。

「我將從父那裡派遣慰助者來，他就是從父而來的真理的靈。他來的時候，將為我做見證。並且你們也要做見證，因為你們從一開始就與我在一起。
