其人謂我曰、此水流於東方、下至亞拉巴、而入於海、既入於海、海水變甘、此河所至之地、諸動物必得滋生、鱗族繁衍、斯水既至、海水變甘、所至之處、百物生焉、漁人必立河濱、自隱基底至隱以革蓮、為張網之所、其中之魚、種類俱備、厥數繁多、若大海之魚然、惟其淤地水澤、水不變甘、留為斥鹵、河濱左右、生長各樹、其實可餐、其葉不凋、其果不斷、因水出於聖所、月結新實、果可為食、葉可醫疾、○

耶和華上帝曰、斯人能別善惡、彷彿我儕、恐其舉手、亦取生命樹果、食之而永生、遂遣其人出伊甸囿、以耕所自出之土、既逐之出、又於伊甸囿東、置基路伯、與旋轉之焰劍、以防守生命樹之途、

其人導我返至室門、其室東向、門閾之下、有水湧出、流於東方、由室右及壇南而下、

持之者以為生命之樹、守之者咸有福祉、

或删減之、上帝必由此書所錄維生之樹及聖邑而擯棄之、○

列邦將藉其光而行、世上諸王、以其榮歸之、

十二門乃十二珠、門各一珠、邑衢為澄金、明澈如玻璃、

惟爾寅畏我名者、義日將為爾出、其翼施醫、爾將出而踴躍、如牢中之犢、

彼之行徑、我見之矣、我必醫之、引導之、慰藉之、並慰藉其中之憂人、耶和華曰、我造厥口之果、遠者近者、願其平康、我必醫之、

痛心者醫之、而裹其創兮、

我將醫其悖逆、厚加眷愛、蓋我怒已轉離之、

主之神偕我矣、蓋彼膏我、以宣福音於貧者、遣我宣告、虜者得釋、瞽者得明、受挫折者得自由、

使斯民心頑、耳聾、目瞶、免以目視、耳聽、心悟、轉移而得醫焉、

耶和華歟、尚其醫我、我則獲痊、尚其拯我、我則得救、蓋爾為我所頌美者、
