Then I saw“ a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.

『因為看吧，我化造新的天新的地，先前的事不再被懷念了，不再回上心頭了。不，你們必因我所化造的而永遠高興快樂；因為看哪，我化造耶路撒冷做人所快樂的，化造她的人民為人所高興的。我必因耶路撒冷而快樂，因我的人民而高興；其中必不再聽到哭泣的聲音，也不再聽到哀呼的聲音。

然而照主所應許之恩、我們所期待的乃是新的天新的地、其中有正義住着的。

『永恆主發神諭說：我所要造的新天新地要怎樣在我面前長存立着，你們的後裔和你們的名字也必怎樣長存立着。

但主的日子總必來到；來時就像賊一樣。當那日、天必轟然一聲地過去，星辰必因烈熾而被消毁，地和地上被造之物就不見了。

我看見有一個白色的大寶座和那坐在上面的；地和天都從他面前逃避了；再也找不着其位置了。

坐寶座的說：『看哪，我正使一切都徹底創新呢。』（又說：『你要寫下來，因為這些話是可信可靠真實的話。』）

當那日子、永恆主必用他剛硬巨大有力的刀來察罰飛奔蛇鱷魚，察罰曲行蛇鱷魚，並殺那在海中的大獸。

有四隻大獸從海中上來，彼此各不相同。

惟獨惡人、好像翻騰的海；因不能平靜，其水就翻騰出髒泡沬和淤泥來。

我看見一隻獸從海裏上來，有十個角七個頭；十個角上戴着十個冠冕；七個頭上還有褻瀆的名。
