時見王位數席、居其位者、受審判之權；又見諸為耶穌妙證、天主聖道、而致命者之靈魂、及生前未拜獸及厥像、且未受其印誌於顙或手者之靈魂。若輩至此復活而與基督乘權千載；

I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

耶穌曰：『吾實語爾、爾曹從我者、至復活時、人子坐於榮座、爾曹亦必坐於十二寶座、審判義塞十二支派。

人若共其辱、亦當共其榮。人若不認主、主亦無從認。

爾豈不知聖徒必將審判世界乎？世界尚受爾審判、豈曰不能處理細事乎？應知吾人行將審判天神矣、而況於世俗之事乎？

啟五緘、則見為天主聖道而致命者之靈魂盤桓於祭臺之下、

凡百折不撓、終克致勝者、吾必賜其與吾同坐於吾位之上、亦如吾之終克致勝而獲與吾父同坐於厥位之上也。

諸老合奏新歌一曲、其詞曰：誰堪受其書而啟其緘兮、惟爾具斯大德、爾曾自獻為犧牲兮、流爾寶血；贖元元於各種各族兮、萬邦重譯；俾翕然歸返乎天主兮、以成神國；為王為鐸兮、統御寰域。

使爾得於吾國之中、飲食於吾席之上、且升坐寶位、以判義塞十二支派。

得親嘗首次復活者、福矣、聖矣！若而人者、不復受二次死亡之管轄、且得為天主及基督之司鐸、而與之同王於千秋。

邑中不夜、亦無需燈火日光；主天主自照明之。諸僕秉權、神祚無疆。

我若望為爾之同胞、與爾在耶穌懷中共受患難、同屬一國、而咸秉忍辱負重之德。吾因天主之明訓及耶穌之妙證、而被流至巴脫摩海島。

既為兒女、即為嗣子；既為天主之嗣子、則亦為基督之共同繼承人也。惟是吾人如欲與之共榮、則不可不先與之共苦共難耳。

諸兄弟賴羔羊之血、毅然為聖道作證、舍命不渝、從容就死；故能克服頑敵、終獲致勝。

二人作證既畢、將有猛獸出自無底深壑與之戰、勝而殺之、

徒問曰：『經生輩謂依理藹須先至、何也？』耶穌對曰：『依理藹固須先至、復興萬事；第予語爾、依理藹實已蒞臨、而人莫之識、且任意處之。人子之將罹橫逆、亦復如是。』至此諸徒乃悟耶穌所言、係指施洗如望。

遂遣使斬如望於獄、

分封王希祿、聞耶穌所行、疑不能決；蓋或謂如望復活、或謂伊理藹顯現、亦有謂古先知再世者；而希祿則曰：『如望已為予所斬矣、則今茲所聞者、果何人耶？』意欲一睹其人。

其半途而廢者、亦必甚眾；且將互相陷害、互相嫉恨。

以伊理藹之風度神力為主前驅、必使為父者之心歸向兒女、而頑強之子服膺長者之智、為主作育心悅誠服之新民。』

吾當遣派二證者、披麻而預言、凡一千二百又六十日。」

爾適所見之獸、一現即逝、又將起自深淵、終必淪胥以亡。舉世之人、凡其名自創世以來、未見錄於生命冊者、以其獸之一現即逝、而復勃興。咸將見而歎服。

煎燒之煙、蓬蓬上升、曠世不休。哀哉拜獸及其像、而受其名之印誌者、日夜遑遑、不得寧息。」

越三日有半、天主之生氣入其屍身、二證復起、見者莫不駭愕。

何則、若彼之被棄已為舉世重歸天主之因緣、則彼之被納、又為何如將非轉死為生、大地回春乎！

嗣問耶穌曰：『經生謂伊理靄必需先臨何也？』

希祿聞之、則曰：『是必吾所斬之如望復活矣。』

於海獸之前、操其大權、驅策全世居民、朝拜曩日受傷獲瘳之前獸。此獸多行奇跡、能於眾人之前、令火自空中而降。世人以其有權暢行異蹟於海獸之前、多受其熒惑。彼乃慫慂世人、為受傷獲瘳之獸製像、復能授氣於像、令獸像作人言有敢不拜獸像者、殺無赦。又令人民無貴賤貧富主僕、悉受印誌、或在右手或在額上。凡未印有獸名、或獸名之數者、均不得從事貿易。

角七鳴、天上眾音並作、相和而言曰：普天之下、率土之濱、咸歸天主、基督是君、千秋萬歲、統於一尊。

瞬息之間、世將不復見予、爾獨見予。蓋予永生、爾亦因以有生焉。

彷彿見一琉璃之海、與火相混；又見諸凡未被獸及厥像厥名之數所克者、凱旋而歸、齊立琉璃海畔、抱天主靈瑟、
