Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and[ with] other my fellowlabourers, whose names[ are] in the book of life.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive[ and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:Then we which are alive[ and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes[ are] open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:

The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider[ it]? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth[ not] he know[ it]? and shall[ not] he render to[ every] man according to his works?

Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me: I will render to the man according to his work.
