“ Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. To everyone who is victorious I will give some of the manna that has been hidden away in heaven. And I will give to each one a white stone, and on the stone will be engraved a new name that no one understands except the one who receives it.

願凡有耳者、諦聽聖神對諸教會之訓示：凡百折不撓、終克致勝者、吾必賜以潛藏之瑪納、頒以白圭、上鐫新名、惟受者識之、非外人所得而知也。

Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it.

‘ Whoever has ears should listen to what the Holy Spirit says to the churches. Here is what I will do for anyone who has victory over sin. I will give that person hidden manna to eat. The nations will see your righteousness. World leaders will be blinded by your glory. And you will be given a new name by the Lord’s own mouth.

All who are victorious will become pillars in the Temple of my God, and they will never have to leave it. And I will write on them the name of my God, and they will be citizens in the city of my God— the new Jerusalem that comes down from heaven from my God. His eyes were like flames of fire, and on his head were many crowns. A name was written on him that no one understood except himself.He wore a robe dipped in blood, and his title was the Word of God.

Your name will be a curse word among my people, for the Sovereign Lord will destroy you and will call his true servants by another name.

Yes, I am the bread of life!Your ancestors ate manna in the wilderness, but they all died.Anyone who eats the bread from heaven, however, will never die.I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Anyone who eats this bread will live forever; and this bread, which I will offer so the world may live, is my flesh.”Then the people began arguing with each other about what he meant.“ How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” they asked.So Jesus said again,“ I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you cannot have eternal life within you.But anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise that person at the last day.For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink.Anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.I live because of the living Father who sent me; in the same way, anyone who feeds on me will live because of me.I am the true bread that came down from heaven. Anyone who eats this bread will not die as your ancestors did( even though they ate the manna) but will live forever.”

For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.

The Lord is a friend to those who fear him. He teaches them his covenant.

Such wicked people are detestable to the Lord, but he offers his friendship to the godly.

This great choir sang a wonderful new song in front of the throne of God and before the four living beings and the twenty four elders. No one could learn this song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth.

Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says:“ My servants will eat, but you will starve. My servants will drink, but you will be thirsty. My servants will rejoice, but you will be sad and ashamed.

“ Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.”

But people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means.

But Jesus replied,“ I have a kind of food you know nothing about.”

“ Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.

You feed them from the abundance of your own house, letting them drink from your river of delights.

He replied,“ You are permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven, but others are not.

Each heart knows its own bitterness, and no one else can fully share its joy.

For this is what the Lord says: I will bless those eunuchs who keep my Sabbath days holy and who choose to do what pleases me and commit their lives to me.
