他們曾流過聖徒和神言人們的血，你也把血給了他們喝；他們是該受的。』

牠得了權柄、可以將生氣給獸的像，叫獸的像不但能說話，也能叫所有不拜獸像的人都被殺害。

我知道你居住的地方，嘿，撒但座位的地方；你執守着我的名，甚至當我那忠信者、那為我捨生作證的安提帕、在你們那裏、在撒但居住的地方、被殺的日子、你也沒有否認你對我的信仰。

獸得權柄、能對聖徒作戰而勝過他們；有權柄給了牠、可以管轄各族派、各民族、各種語言的人、和各邦國。

他必說話頂撞至高者；必折磨至高者之聖民；想要改變節期和禮節規矩；聖民必被交付於他的手、一個時期、兩個時期、半個時期。

你眼目清潔不看壞事，你是不能逕看着毒害舉動而不理的！為甚麼你逕看着詭詐不忠的人而不理？惡人吞滅了比自己正義的、你為甚麼靜默不動？

並且為你捨生的作證人司提反的血迸流的時候，我本人還站在旁邊贊同着，看守殺掉他之人的衣裳呢！」

天哪，聖眾使徒和神言人哪，因那城而歡躍吧！因為上帝已為你們伸雪而判罰她了。』有一位大有力量的天使舉起一塊石頭來、像大磨石、丟在海裏、說：『巴比倫大城也必這樣砰磅一下被丟下，決不能再看到了！彈絃琴、作樂、吹簫笛、吹號筒者、的聲音在你中間決不能再聽到了；各手工業各手藝人在你中間決不能再看到了；石磨的聲音在你中間決不能再聽到了；燈光決不能再照耀於你中間了；新郎新娘的聲音在你中間決不能再聽到了；因為你的商人曾經是地上的大人物；因為列國都曾在你的邪術中受了迷惑。』在這裏並且見有神言人和聖徒們的血、以及地上一切被屠殺之人的血。

弟兄們勝過他，是因着羔羊的血，因着他們所見證的道；他們又是至死不愛惜性命的。

我在觀看，就看見這角同聖民接戰，竟勝了他們，

羔羊揭開了第五個印的時候，我看見祭壇底下有那些為了上帝之道、為了他們所執守的見證、而被屠殺之人的靈魂。他們大聲喊着說：『聖而真的主宰啊，你不審判、而向住在地上的人伸我們流血的冤、要等到幾時呢？』
