我來如盜、儆醒而守其衣者福矣、免裸行而見羞也、

主曰、我必襲爾、如盜猝至、當儆醒守厥衣服、以免裸裎、庶無愧怍、得蒙福祉、

主曰、我來、如盜猝至、凡警醒守衣、免其裸身現醜者有福、

我來有如不速之客。人能恆自警惕、守其所服、毋使赤身露體、自彰其醜、斯為有福。

Watch therefore, for you don’t know in what hour your Lord comes.But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch of the night the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.

I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, that you may become rich; and white garments, that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes, that you may see.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

if indeed being clothed, we will not be found naked.

Watch, keep alert, and pray; for you don’t know when the time is.“ It is like a man, traveling to another country, having left his house, and given authority to his servants, and to each one his work, and also commanded the doorkeeper to keep watch.Watch therefore, for you don’t know when the lord of the house is coming, whether at evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning;lest coming suddenly he might find you sleeping.What I tell you, I tell all: Watch.”

Remember therefore how you have received and heard. Keep it and repent. If therefore you won’t watch, I will come as a thief, and you won’t know what hour I will come upon you.Nevertheless you have a few names in Sardis that didn’t defile their garments. They will walk with me in white, for they are worthy.

For you yourselves know well that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night.For when they are saying,“ Peace and safety,” then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman. Then they will in no way escape.

Watch therefore, for you don’t know the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.

Therefore watch, remembering that for a period of three years I didn’t cease to admonish everyone night and day with tears.

so then let’s not sleep, as the rest do, but let’s watch and be sober.

Watch and pray, that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Therefore be watchful all the time, praying that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will happen, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

Your nakedness will be uncovered. Yes, your shame will be seen. I will take vengeance, and will spare no one.”

But the end of all things is near. Therefore be of sound mind, self- controlled, and sober in prayer.

Blessed are those servants, whom the lord will find watching when he comes. Most certainly I tell you that he will dress himself, make them recline, and will come and serve them.They will be blessed if he comes in the second or third watch, and finds them so.But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what hour the thief was coming, he would have watched, and not allowed his house to be broken into.Therefore be ready also, for the Son of Man is coming in an hour that you don’t expect him.”Peter said to him,“ Lord, are you telling this parable to us, or to everybody?”The Lord said,“ Who then is the faithful and wise steward, whom his lord will set over his household, to give them their portion of food at the right times?Blessed is that servant whom his lord will find doing so when he comes.

When Moses saw that the people were out of control,( for Aaron had let them lose control, causing derision among their enemies),

“ Woe to him who gives his neighbor drink, pouring your inflaming wine until they are drunk, so that you may gaze at their naked bodies!

Lest I strip her naked, and make her bare as in the day that she was born, and make her like a wilderness, and set her like a dry land, and kill her with thirst.

therefore see, I will gather all your lovers, with whom you have taken pleasure, and all those who you have loved, with all those who you have hated. I will even gather them against you on every side, and will uncover your nakedness to them, that they may see all your nakedness.
