因着神的荣耀和大能，圣所中充满了烟，在那七位天使降完七灾以前，没有人能进入圣所。

因呼叫者的声音，门槛的根基震撼，殿也充满了烟云。

吹号的和歌唱的都一致同声地赞美称谢耶和华。他们吹号、敲钹，用各种乐器高声赞美耶和华，说：“耶和华是良善的，他的慈爱永远长存。”那时云彩充满了那殿，就是耶和华的殿。由于那云彩的缘故，祭司都不能侍立供职，因为神的殿充满了耶和华的荣光。

当时，有云彩遮盖会幕，耶和华的荣耀充满了帐幕。摩西不能进入会幕，因为云彩停在会幕上面，并且耶和华的荣耀充满着帐幕。

祭司从圣所里出来的时候，有云彩充满耶和华的殿，因为云彩的缘故，祭司不能站立服事，因为耶和华的荣光充满了圣殿。

耶和华的声音惊动母鹿生产，使林中的树木光秃凋零；凡是在他殿中的都说：“荣耀啊！”

当主来的时候，他们要受永远沉沦的惩罚，就是离开主的面和他权能的荣光。在那一天，他要在圣徒身上得着荣耀，又要在所有信徒身上受到尊崇（你们也在他们当中，因为你们信了我们向你们所作的见证）。

我看见天上有另一个景象，又大又奇。有七位天使掌管着末后的七灾，因为神的烈怒在这七灾中发尽了。

神的丰富、智慧和知识，是多么高深啊！他的判断是多么难测，他的道路是多么难寻！

浓烟从他的鼻孔往上冒，烈火从他的口中喷出来，连炭也烧着了。他使天下垂，亲自降临；在他的脚下黑云密布。他乘着基路伯飞行，藉着风的翅膀急飞。他以黑暗作他的隐密处，他以浓黑的水气，就是天空的密云，作他四周的帷帐。密云、冰雹与火炭，从他面前的光辉经过。耶和华在天上打雷，至高者发出声音，发出冰雹和火炭。他射出箭来，使它们四散；他连连发出闪电，使它们混乱。

你用密云把自己遮蔽起来，以致我们的祷告不能达到你那里。

耶和华对我说：“即使摩西和撒母耳站在我面前代求，我的心也不会转向这人民。你把他们从我面前赶走，叫他们出去！
