Sing to the LORD a brand new song! Praise him from the horizon of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and everything that lives in it, you coastlands and those who live there!

Immediately I was in the Spirit, and a throne was standing in heaven with someone seated on it!And the one seated on it was like jasper and carnelian in appearance, and a rainbow looking like it was made of emerald encircled the throne.In a circle around the throne were twenty- four other thrones, and seated on those thrones were twenty- four elders. They were dressed in white clothing and had golden crowns on their heads.From the throne came out flashes of lightning and roaring and crashes of thunder. Seven flaming torches, which are the seven spirits of God, were burning in front of the throneand in front of the throne was something like a sea of glass, like crystal. In the middle of the throne and around the throne were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back.The first living creature was like a lion, the second creature like an ox, the third creature had a face like a man’s, and the fourth creature looked like an eagle flying.Each one of the four living creatures had six wings and was full of eyes all around and inside. They never rest day or night, saying:“ Holy Holy Holy is the Lord God, the All- Powerful, Who was and who is, and who is still to come!”And whenever the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to the one who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever,the twenty- four elders throw themselves to the ground before the one who sits on the throne and worship the one who lives forever and ever, and they offer their crowns before his throne, saying:“ You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, since you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created!”

Sing to the LORD a new song, for he performs amazing deeds! His right hand and his mighty arm accomplish deliverance.

Sing to the LORD a new song! Sing to the LORD, all the earth!

O God, I will sing a new song to you! Accompanied by a ten-stringed instrument, I will sing praises to you,

The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers, I will give him some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on that stone will be written a new name that no one can understand except the one who receives it.’

Sing to him a new song! Play skillfully as you shout out your praises to him!

He gave me reason to sing a new song, praising our God. May many see what God has done, so that they might swear allegiance to him and trust in the LORD!

They sang the song of Moses the servant of God and the song of the Lamb:“ Great and astounding are your deeds, Lord God, the All- Powerful! Just and true are your ways, King over the nations!

At that time Jesus said,“ I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and revealed them to little children.Yes, Father, for this was your gracious will.All things have been handed over to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son decides to reveal him.

The LORD’s loyal followers receive his guidance, and he reveals his covenantal demands to them.

For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

The unbeliever does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him. And he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
