I also heard a sound coming out of heaven like the sound of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder. Now the sound I heard was like that made by harpists playing their harps,

接着，我听见有声音从天上传来，好像众水的声音，也像大雷鸣的声音。我所听见的这声音，又像琴师们弹奏竖琴的声音。

我聞自天有聲如眾水聲、如大雷聲、又如鼓琴者鼓其琴、

我聞自天有聲、如濤泙湃、如雷震轟、又如鼓琴之聲、

我聞自天有聲、如眾水澎湃之聲、如巨雷轟震之聲、又聞鼓琴者鼓琴之聲、

又聞一音發自天上、如浪濤之澎湃、又如雷霆之震轟；吾所聞之音又似樂人齊集、琴瑟並奏、濟濟一堂、

And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder. The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps.

and when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty- four elders threw themselves to the ground before the Lamb. Each of them had a harp and golden bowls full of incense( which are the prayers of the saints).

His feet were like polished bronze refined in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar of many waters.

Then I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who had conquered the beast and his image and the number of his name. They were standing by the sea of glass, holding harps given to them by God.

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven saying:“ The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.”

Give thanks to the LORD with the harp! Sing to him to the accompaniment of a ten-stringed instrument!

Praise him with the blast of the horn! Praise him with the lyre and the harp!Praise him with the tambourine and with dancing! Praise him with stringed instruments and the flute!Praise him with loud cymbals! Praise him with clanging cymbals!Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!

I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east; the sound was like that of rushing water; and the earth radiated his glory.

while David and all Israel were energetically celebrating before the LORD, singing and playing various stringed instruments, tambourines, rattles, and cymbals.

Then he shouted in a loud voice like a lion roaring, and when he shouted, the seven thunders sounded their voices.When the seven thunders spoke, I was preparing to write, but just then I heard a voice from heaven say,“ Seal up what the seven thunders spoke and do not write it down.”

Awake, my soul! Awake, O stringed instrument and harp! I will wake up at dawn!

I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day when I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet,

And the sound of the harpists, musicians, flute players, and trumpeters will never be heard in you again. No craftsman who practices any trade will ever be found in you again; the noise of a mill will never be heard in you again.

to the accompaniment of a ten-stringed instrument and a lyre, to the accompaniment of the meditative tone of the harp.

On the third day in the morning there was thunder and lightning and a dense cloud on the mountain, and the sound of a very loud horn; all the people who were in the camp trembled.

After these things I heard what sounded like the loud voice of a vast throng in heaven, saying,“ Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,because his judgments are true and just. For he has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality, and has avenged the blood of his servants poured out by her own hands!”Then a second time the crowd shouted,“ Hallelujah!” The smoke rises from her forever and ever.The twenty- four elders and the four living creatures threw themselves to the ground and worshiped God, who was seated on the throne, saying:“ Amen! Hallelujah!”Then a voice came from the throne, saying:“ Praise our God all you his servants, and all you who fear him, both the small and the great!”Then I heard what sounded like the voice of a vast throng, like the roar of many waters and like loud crashes of thunder. They were shouting:“ Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the All- Powerful, reigns!Let us rejoice and exult and give him glory, because the wedding celebration of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.

Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them:“ Come up here!” So the two prophets went up to heaven in a cloud while their enemies stared at them.

I looked on when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a thunderous voice,“ Come!”

David and the army officers selected some of the sons of Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun to prophesy as they played stringed instruments and cymbals. The following men were assigned this responsibility:From the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asarelah. The sons of Asaph were supervised by Asaph, who prophesied under the king’s supervision.From the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah– six in all, under supervision of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied as he played a harp, giving thanks and praise to the LORD.From the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.All these were the sons of Heman, the king’s prophet. God had promised him these sons in order to make him prestigious. God gave Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.All of these were under the supervision of their fathers; they were musicians in the LORD’s temple, playing cymbals and stringed instruments as they served in God’s temple. Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman were under the supervision of the king.They and their relatives, all of them skilled and trained to make music to the LORD, numbered two hundred eighty-eight.

Then the LORD will appear above them, and his arrow will shoot forth like lightning; the Lord GOD will blow the trumpet and will sally forth on the southern storm winds.

The first angel blew his trumpet, and there was hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was thrown at the earth so that a third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.Then the second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain of burning fire was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea became blood,and a third of the creatures living in the sea died, and a third of the ships were completely destroyed.Then the third angel blew his trumpet, and a huge star burning like a torch fell from the sky; it landed on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water.( Now the name of the star is Wormwood.) So a third of the waters became wormwood, and many people died from these waters because they were poisoned.Then the fourth angel blew his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. And there was no light for a third of the day and for a third of the night likewise.Then I looked, and I heard an eagle flying directly overhead, proclaiming with a loud voice,“ Woe! Woe! Woe to those who live on the earth because of the remaining sounds of the trumpets of the three angels who are about to blow them!”Then the fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth, and he was given the key to the shaft of the abyss.

Though these people make an uproar as loud as the roaring of powerful waves, when he shouts at them, they will flee to a distant land, driven before the wind like dead weeds on the hills, or like dead thistles before a strong gale.

All the people were seeing the thundering and the lightning, and heard the sound of the horn, and saw the mountain smoking– and when the people saw it they trembled with fear and kept their distance.

Above the sound of the surging water, and the mighty waves of the sea, the LORD sits enthroned in majesty.

Sing to the LORD accompanied by a harp, accompanied by a harp and the sound of music!

Let them praise his name with dancing! Let them sing praises to him to the accompaniment of the tambourine and harp!

Offer to the LORD a song of thanks! Sing praises to our God to the accompaniment of a harp!

Then I will go to the altar of God, to the God who gives me ecstatic joy, so that I express my thanks to you, O God, my God, with a harp.
