獸且賦有口才、大言不慚、荒謬絕倫；秉權作孽四十有二月。

The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months.

The beast was given a mouth to brag and speak evil things against God. The beast was allowed to use its authority for 42 months.

And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months.

Then the beast was allowed to speak great blasphemies against God. And he was given authority to do whatever he wanted for forty two months.

我正在觀賞這些角，忽見它們之間又長起另一個角來，是小小的；先前的角之中有三個在這小角之前連根都被拔出來；看哪，這角有眼像人的眼，有口說着誇大的話呢。

『那王必任意而行，自高自大超過所有的神，又說了荒謬怪誕的話來攻擊萬神之神上帝。他倒會亨通順利，直到上帝的震怒發盡；因為鐵定的事必定作成。

他必說話頂撞至高者；必折磨至高者之聖民；想要改變節期和禮節規矩；聖民必被交付於他的手、一個時期、兩個時期、半個時期。

那婦人就逃入荒野；在那裏她擁有一個地方、由上帝豫備好了、使他在那裏得供養一千二百六十天。

那時、因那小角說着誇大之話的聲音，我就觀看，看見那獸被殺，牠的身體被毁壞，交給火燒。

於是有大鷹的兩個翅膀給了那婦人，讓她飛入荒野、到自己的地方去，在那裏受供養一個時期，兩個時期，又半個時期，遠避那蛇的面目。

不過殿堂以外的院子、卻不要量，因為已經給了外國人了；他們必踐踏聖城四十二個月。我要賜權柄叫我那兩個捨生作證人披着麻衣傳講神言、一千二百六十天。』

那敵對者、那高抬自己、超高一切稱為神或受人崇拜者，甚至坐在上帝之殿堂裏、自稱為神的。

我又願認清牠頭上的十個角、和那另長起來的一個角；在這個角前面怎樣有三個角被牠打落；這角怎樣有眼、有口、能說誇大的話；其形狀怎樣強猛、過於牠的同類。

他們作完了他們的見證時，那從無底坑裏上來的獸必對他們作戰，勝過他們，殺死他們。

獸得權柄、能對聖徒作戰而勝過他們；有權柄給了牠、可以管轄各族派、各民族、各種語言的人、和各邦國。
