永恆主上帝用地上的塵土塑造了人，將生氣吹進他的鼻孔裏，那人就成了一個有生命的活人。

主永恆主對這些骸骨這麼說：看吧，我必使氣息進入你們裏面，你們就活了。我必給你們加上筋，使你們長肉，又給你們包上皮，使你們有氣息，你們就活了；你們便知道我乃是永恆主。』於是我照所受吩咐的去傳神言；正傳神言的時候，忽有響聲，有轟轟的震動，骸骨全都集合攏來，一骨對一骨。我一看，只見骸骨上居然有筋，也長了肉，又有皮包在上頭；只是沒有氣息。主對我說：『你要向風傳神言，人子啊，你要傳神言，對風說：主永恆主這麼說：氣息啊，要從四面的風而來，吹在這些被殺的人身上，使他們活起來。』於是我照主所吩咐我的來傳神言，氣息就進入骸骨裏面，骸骨便活了起來，並且站起來，成了極大極大的軍隊。主對我說：『人子啊，這些骸骨就是以色列全家；看哪，他們常說：「我們的骸骨都很枯乾；我們的指望都滅沒了；我們都被割絕淨盡了。」因此你要傳神言，對他們說：主永恆主這麼說：『我的人民哪，看吧！我必開你們的墳墓，使你們從墳墓中起來；我必領你們進以色列地。我的人民哪，我開你們的墳墓，使你們從墳墓中起來，你們就知道我乃是永恆主。我必將我的靈放在你們裏面，你們就活起來；我將你們安置在你們本地時，你們就知道我乃是永恆主；我說了，我必作成：這是永恆主發神諭說的。』

整個教會、以及所有聽見這些事的人、都大起敬畏的心。

亞拿尼亞聽見了這些話，就仆倒，斷了氣；所有聽見的人都大起敬畏的心。

從許多民許多族許多種語言的人和許多邦國中、人們必觀看他們的屍體三天半，又不許人把他們的屍體安放在塋墓裏。

如果那使耶穌從死人中活起來的靈住在你們裏面，那麼那使耶穌從死人中活起來的、也就要藉着他的靈、那住在你們裏面的靈、使你們能死的身體活起來。

就在那時就發生了大地震；那城有十分之一倒壞了。在地震中遭難而死的人有七千名；其餘的人都很懼怕，就把榮耀獻與天上的上帝。

後來以色列人必回轉過來，尋求他們的上帝永恆主、和他們的王大衛；日後他們必戰驚恐懼地傾慕永恆主和他的恩惠。

因為生命之靈之律在基督耶穌裏使我得自由、脫離了罪之律、即死之律。

這城必在地上萬國人面前使我得可喜可樂的名聲，得頌讚，得榮美，因為他們必聽見我向這城的人所賜的一切福樂；因我向這城所賜的一切福樂、一切平安興隆、列國的人都必恐懼戰兢。

對他們說：『我知道永恆主已經把這地賜給你們，並且有一種懼怕你們的恐怖情緒落到我們心裏，而且這地所有的居民因你們的緣故都膽戰心驚。
