Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them,“ Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on.

這些事以後我觀看，見有個門在天上開着；我所聽見初次發出的聲音、像號筒和我說話的、就說：『你上這裏來，我要將此後必須發生的事指示你。』

說了這話，他們正看的時候、耶穌就被舉起；有一朵雲彩把他接了上去，使他們看不見。

他們正走着說話的時候，忽有火車火馬將二人分開，以利亞就乘着旋風升天去了。

然後我們這蒙存留還活着的人才和他們一同被攫在雲裏，在空中迎接主。這樣，我們就永遠與主同在了。

永恆主將要用旋風接以利亞升天的時候，以利亞和以利沙正從吉甲往前行。

竟在我們因過犯而死的時候、使我們和基督同活（你們得了救、就是靠着恩）。上帝使我們和基督一同活起來，一同坐在天界中在基督耶穌裏，

但那等候永恆主的、必從新得力；他們必如鷹展翅上騰；他們奔跑，也不困倦，他們行走，也不疲乏。

他在陰間、一直在痛苦中；一舉目竟望見亞伯拉罕在遠處，拉撒路在亞伯拉罕懷裏呢。

那些如雲飛來，像鴿子飛回籠子的、是誰呢？

那婦人產生了一個男兒、就是將來要用鐵杖管轄列國的。但她的孩子卻被攫到上帝面前、上帝寶座那裏。

住耶利哥的神言人弟子們走近以利沙身邊，對他說：『永恆主今天要將你老師接去、使你沒有首領，你知道不知道？』他說：『我知道；你們可別作聲。』

你心裏曾說：「我必升到天上；我必高設我的寶座在高高之眾星以上；我必坐在諸神的聚會山上，在北方之極處；

那時你們就必重新看出義人與惡人之間、事奉上帝的與不事奉上帝的之間、有甚麼分別了。

永恆主啊，誰能寄居你的帳棚？誰能住在你的聖山呢？

得勝的、我必賜他和我同坐我寶座，正如我得了勝，和我父同坐他寶座一樣。

求你向我顯出好待我的憑據，叫恨我的人見你、永恆主、幫助了我、安慰了我，便覺得羞愧。

神言人弟子們之中有五十人也去；遠遠地站在他們對面；二人在約但河邊站着。

惡人看見便惱恨；他必咬牙切齒，而身歸熔化；惡人的心願終於滅沒。

又纏住他們的車輪，使車行走重難，以致埃及人說：『我們從以色列人面前逃跑吧；因為永恆主為他們爭戰、攻打埃及人了。』

誰能定他們的罪呢？有基督、那曾經死了的、倒應當說曾得了甦活起來的，有他在上帝的右邊，他在替我們懇求着啊。誰能使我們和基督的愛隔絕呢？難道是苦難麼？是困迫麼？是逼迫麼？是饑餓麼？是赤身麼？是危險麼？是刀劍麼？是像經上所記：「我們為你的緣故、終日被處死、看為將被屠宰的羊」麼？不；在這一切事上、我們藉着那愛了我們的、倒是得勝有餘了。

誰可以上永恆主的山？誰可以站立在他的聖所呢？
