John, To the seven churches in the province of Asia: Grace and peace to you from him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits before his throne,

I, John, am writing this letter. I am sending it to the seven churches in Asia Minor. May grace and peace come to you from God. He is the one who is, and who was, and who will come. May grace and peace come to you from the seven spirits. These spirits are in front of God’s throne.

夫耶穌基督在昨在今、爰及世世、一也、

太初有道、道偕上帝、道即上帝也、

山岡尚未生出、寰區尚未造成、自亙古迄永久、爾為上帝兮、

耶和華之神必臨之、即智慧明哲之神、謀畧才能之神、知識與寅畏耶和華之神也、

有電與聲與雷、出自座中、亦有火燈七、燃於座前、即上帝之七神也、

我則見座中及四生物、與諸長老中、有羔立焉、如曾見殺、有七角七目、即上帝遣於天下之七神、

當書達撒狄會之使者云、有上帝之七神、及七星者、曰、我知爾諸行、名生而實死、

誰藐視其日、以為細故乎、耶和華之七目、遍察全地、必喜見所羅巴伯手執準繩也、

始、我也、終、亦我、而今而昔而將來、全能者也、主上帝言之矣、○

凡美善之施、純全之賚、皆由於上、自光明之父而降、彼無變易、無移影、

誰為之、誰成之、誰自元始命定萬代、我耶和華也、始我也、終亦我也、

萬軍之耶和華曰、我置於約書亞前之石、一石有七目、我必雕刻之、斯土之罪、一日之間、我將除之、

凡在羅馬為上帝所愛、蒙召為聖徒者、願恩惠平康、由我父上帝及主耶穌基督歸爾、○

上帝曰、我乃自有、當告以色列族曰、自有者遣我就爾、

又曰、主歟、爾元始奠地之基、諸天乃爾手之工、天地必亡、惟爾恆存、彼皆如衣而漸舊、爾將卷之如袍、彼若衣而更易、惟爾依然、爾壽無疆、上帝曾向何天使云、爾坐我右、迨我置爾敵為爾足几、

巍巍在上、永永其居、名為聖者曰、我居高而且聖之所、且與痛悔謙冲之人偕居、以蘇謙冲者之神、而暢痛悔者之心、

當書達非拉鐵非會之使者云、維聖維誠、持大衛之鑰、開則無能闔之、闔則無能開之曰、

各有六翼、遍體有目、晝夜不憩、言曰、聖哉、聖哉、聖哉、主上帝全能者、昔在今在而將來者也、

願恩惠平康、由我父上帝、及主耶穌基督歸爾、○

伯利恆以法他乎、爾在猶大郡中為小、然將有一人自爾而出、為君於以色列、其原由於亙古、本於太初、

上古爾奠地基、諸天爾手所造兮、斯必滅沒、惟爾恆存、此皆如衣漸舊、爾將易之如服、則俱改變兮、惟爾不易、爾年無盡兮、

願恩惠平康、由我父上帝與主耶穌基督歸爾、○

恩賜有殊、而神惟一、職事有殊、而主惟一、功用有殊、而上帝惟一、行萬事於眾中、聖神之顯著、賦於各人、以致其益、或由聖神賦以睿智之言、或由聖神賦以知識之言、又或由聖神賦以信德、或由聖神賦以醫術、更或賦以異能、或以預言、或辨諸神、或言方言、或譯方言、此皆一神所行、隨其所欲而頒予之、○猶身一而體百、身之體雖多、究為一身、基督亦然、蓋我眾不論猶太、希利尼、為奴、自主、皆受洗於一神、合為一身、且皆飲於一神焉、

當書達士每拿會之使者云、為始為終、既死而生者曰、

耶穌基督之使徒彼得、書達散處於本都加拉太、加帕多家、亞西亞、庇推尼之客旅、依父上帝預知而蒙選、由聖神而成聖、以致順服、灑以耶穌基督之血者、願恩惠平康、益增於爾、○

爾所見我右手七星、與金檠七之奧、夫七星即七會之使、七檠即七會也、當書達以弗所會之使者云、右手執七星、行於七金檠間者、曰、

如是者二年、致居亞西亞之猶太人、希利尼人、悉聞主道、

爾所見者當筆之於書、寄於七會、即以弗所、士每拿、別迦摩、推雅推喇、撒狄、非拉鐵非、老底嘉、

當書達推雅推喇會之使者云、上帝子目如火焰、足如明銅者曰、

使者曰、此乃天之四風、侍於全地之主前、奉遣而出、

耶穌基督之啟示、乃上帝所賜以示其諸僕、即必速成之事也、且遣厥使、曉諭其僕約翰、
