所以你們要知道、上帝這拯救已經傳送給外國人了；他們倒要聽。』

我說、基督為要顯明上帝的真誠，就做了受割禮之猶太人的僕役，要證實對列祖所發的應許，也要使外國人因上帝的憐憫來榮耀上帝，如經上所記：『故此我要在外國中頌揚你，歌頌你的名。』

猶太人和希利尼人並沒有區別：同一位主是萬人的主，豐豐富富的恩待一切呼求他的人。

你必向雅各顯為可信可靠，必向亞伯拉罕施堅固的愛，就是古時日子你向我們列祖所起誓應許的。

『地的四極，面向着我來得救吧！因為只有我是上帝，再沒有別的神：

是這位永恆主說：『你做我僕人，使雅各眾族派得以重立起來，使以色列中得保存的能夠歸回——這還是輕微的事，我還要使你做外國人之光，使我的拯救能施到地儘邊呢。』

血肉之人都必看見上帝的拯救。」』
