For you, Lord, are the Most High over all the earth; you are exalted far above all gods.

偉哉造物。百神之君。

恥辱蒙其首。愴怳歸幽冥。

大德惟我主。浩蕩邁百神。

大主宜大讚。稜威超百神。

詎知吾主固在九天之上兮。行其心之所愛。豈同若輩手製之偶像兮。乃金銀之所成。口不能言。耳不能聽。目不能視。鼻不能聞。手不能握。足不能行。雖具喉舌。寂寂無聲。是知造像者固麻木而不仁矣。而信奉之者又安得而非冥頑不靈者乎。

超軼乎一切爵、權、德、統、諸品天神、及今世來世一切可名之名之上。

因是天主亦舉之於萬有之上、鍚以聖名、舉世無匹、萬古流芳、使天上人間乃至地下一切生靈、莫不聞其名而屈膝、眾口同聲、咸稱耶穌基督為主、而歸榮於天主聖父焉。
